A theorie that I dislike and would like to see debunked is that the 9-tails is a eavil demond. Yes he attacked the village BUT does that make him evil??? i should say not, we do not know why he attacked he could have been provoked OR konoha could have drawn the first blood. It seems too smart to just go rampaging one day.

^the nine tails has got unimaginable power,a good idea how to use it,and,to quote ur sig,lashade,doesn't give a rats ass about a damn thing.not really the stereotypical evil,but pretty badass nonetheless.
AL is taller than itachi,right?itachi is 5'9,so AL is around 5'10.the height theory may not be enough to debunk it,but i dont think many ppl still believe AL=4th

4th wouldn't have a reason to form Akatsuki even if he somewhat survived, unless someone/something took control of his body.

Thanks I almost forgot about them putting that into the first episode. Well as far as that goes, I don't put theory stock in the anime, as Kish isn't the one producing and animating it.(though wouldn't that be awesome?) The scans of the manga is where I draw my info from as you can see, just as the theory does.

HE IS EVIL!!! HE KILLED IRUKAS PARENTS WAAAAAAA!! J/K

I believe this aswell, kishi needs to really start to pick up on details bout these kinds of infos. just like as u said, either provoked or konoha started it, i really believe that the kyuubi didnt just woke up and said" im gonna make brush fires!!"

the legend of the nine tails demons<in this forums> i have read it a long time ago it was really fascinating and ive been really intrigued. is this really a japanese legend, i just wanna know that kishi or someone else did not just make this legend b4 the manga came out to overlap the story. but yeh just want to kno if its a real japanese folklore for way back.

I'd always just assumed that naruto was the 4th's body, revived by the 9 tails chakra after the 4th's soul was removed by the shingami seal. After we saw 3rd use the seal on Orochimaru it became apparent to me that there was no way that seal could've been used to seal the kyuubi into anything but the body it was being drawn through, and not only does Yondaime not seem like the kind of guy to take a kid and ruin his life by sealing a demon inside him, but even if he did, wouldn't Naruto's parents still be known in the village, his mother could have died in childbirth, his father could've been killed in the kyuubi attack or during the pregnancy on a mission, but the Uzumaki name would've turned up somewhere.

Yes it is a real piece of Japanese folklore. You should go look at what happened between them. And no I don't think he is completely evil, just well he's a lot like Dorian Grey, complicated. He is a seemingly neigh un-killable, has fock tons of chakra, and is quite temperamental. I bet people used to worship him and when they were gone and Konoha came a knocking to make sure things were okay he flipped and started rampaging. But hey that's my theory, that or somebody sent him on that rampage, someone like Orochimaru, but just not Orochimaru.
