Thread: Why is everything about Yondaime so secret >_<

I mean, sure, to keep the reader interested. But still, I wish they would justify that. IE. Who is Yondaime (family, friends, etc.), how did he become hokage? Why did he choose to seal the nine tails in Naruto (I think that one was explained, but I forget whether it was in the manga, or someone assuming), Either or though, I'm thinking Naruto should have a hokage arc after this one.

Because its unimportant? He is dead, no wife and kids, maybe they want him dead burried and forgotten..

We had plenty of chances for flashbacks, and nothing on him, doubfull we going to see any light on this, unless Kishimoto goes out of ideas.

he is the figure of mystery kishi isnt ever going to reveil anythjing about him. Everyone wants to know so badly that if he tells then everyone wouldnt be so interested in him.

Maybe Kishi is just waiting for the right moment to bring the characters into the story. I still see pictures of yondaime in the manga, and he's always being compared to naruto. That tells me he's still important to the story or kishi would have mentioned him once and only once. I still think that he could be the father of naruto and just like nobody was allowed to tell naruto he had the nine tail fox sealed away inside him, maybe nobody is allowed to tell naruto his father died to save the village by sealing the demon in his own son. If you think about it people are always talking about how special naruto is. The one thing people don't realize is, why would the AL want to kill his own son, assuming AL is the 4th, and the 4th is the father of naruto. I think the 4th is dead, I still think he's narutos dad though. I think if naruto had a brother or sister we would know about it, and I think his mother was probably used as a sacrifice. Of course this is just my opinion.

Anyone know of any hints for the names of the 1st, the 2nd, and the 4th hokages? Any hints at all?

well, we know Tsunade is the 1st's grand daughter, that might be helpful

And nobody knows Tsunade's family name plus 1st and 2nd were brothers so Tsunade is related to them both.

who cares? if it isn't important in the storyline, then wutz the point of learning those names?

hmmm, i dunno, havent you felt the obsessive aura's of the hardcore naruto fan being unleashed onto countless forumz?

part of 4th's name is visible when naruto signs the frog scroll.i think wikipedia said it was arashi or something.
