Thread: Time skip

Does anyone think there should be anymore time skips and if so how many years should go by and what will be the reason for it.

i think so...

At least one more and 5 years this time. Long enough to get things set for a new Super secret war(global ninja war) or a war with one of the countries.

I see this manga continuing till naruto gets the position of Hokage (then maybe we can watch him die a horribly painful death^^). For that to happen, and for Naruto to reach Sanin level i think we need another time skip.

Likely that won't happen till the Akatsuki incident is resolved as well as the issue with sasuke/itachi, sasuke/orochimaru/Kabuto, and Sasuke/Naruto.

Hopefully sasuke die at the end of this arc^^

After the main story ends,
there will be a timeskip to show what everyone's new lives are like.

yes there will be another time skip he will go with other tailed-beast huemens(i forget what they are called) to learn to control or work with the 9-tails
when he returns he will be 18(about 3-4 Yrs) and events for the next majure arc will come into play while he is doing this training.
This time skip will happen soon probable at the end of this arc.
of corse this is my thought/opion and have no evidence to back it up.

there probably will be a time skip later on after everything is over...

At this point, Imho, I think that if a time skip should happen, it should only happen for Naruto. Meaning, the story line progresses naturally while he's gone off to learn something for or about himself. Also, since he's the main character, it can't possibly last too long and we'll have to see glimpses of just w/e the hell he's doin. That way, he'll be able to hit on a completely new level and allowing for a more practical realization of the manga's goals. Come on now...u really think Naruto can handle being a jounin, much less a chuunin at this stage? Much maturation is needed.

Besides the fact that Sannin isn't a level, it's three people(hopefully you meant Sennin which also isn't a rank it's a status(think retirement)) Leaving Kabuto out there twisting for him to slowly become the next Orochimaru would be a good idea. And it would enforce the evil never dies style that is hovering over everything. I would almost(almost) say leaving the AL alive and getting new members would be just as good as my grown up Naruto helping fight a Super secret war scenario. Kabuto could serve as a good new enemy, and possibly allow for a late in the game return of Orochimaru himself.
