Yeah the skill level is huge! but is still doesn't change the fact that Hidan was able to live without his head..I mean, if he is able to do that..then Obito is quite able to survive a small rock landing on his face..(not that I support the whole Obito=Tobi thing)

We can speculate that Hidan had a jutsu to prevent him from dying of stuff like decapitation.
It was necessary for his fighting style that he could survive severe injuries.
There is no point in stabbing your own heart to kill the enemy if you yourself don't survive it.

Obito didn't have such a jutsu. So, being hit by a large boulder should kill him.
And if not the first, then the several other boulders that landed on top of him.

The reason that he could talk after being hit is real simple. There were just some things that needed to be said by him in that situation and he had to give Kakashi reason.
That's all there is to it.
That he didn't die instantly was by no means a sign that his injuries were not that bad after all.
Rin was a med (she did the eye transplant after all), she should know if he was dying or not.

And Yondaime appeared shortly after he got crushed by the other boulders.
I think he would've checked the place out.


But Obito will probably be Tobi. It seems obvious.
And it's all for Kakashi's sake. So that it'll be a dramatic face-off.

It ends up being the same thing, Obito died when he and Kakashi opened up to each other and finally became friends.

I am sorry to quote this person in particular, but it seems to me that when about 5 ppl attacking a single sentence is a bit too much like being attacked by a mop, so i'll try to defend it. Wiki does has it merit,anyone can post, but i dont think it is anywhere as bad as this forum. I suspect the reason why university doesnt recommend wiki is because if everyone use it, then all student would turn in the same report, with little effort, hence they got to downplay wiki to that extend. AS for the ppl who publish real books, many of them are asses too. The guy says wiki is "rarely wrong", not "always right". Come on. However, given the amount of BS going around regarding Naruto, i seriously doubt everything except Kishi's original words.

And this Tobi = Obito business, not sure what to say, except I can literally beg Kishi to stop this annoyance, and keep Naruto moving forward. This secret identity crap is really lame, especially in the case of AL (at least Tobi wears a mask). Its just aint a good way to make the manga interesting. Why cant he just work on Naruto's humor, more awesome fights, more heterosexual romance instead of male-only bonding....etc.
