I know alot of people wanted her to take over Hinata's group, though i agree to add Kakashi into the arc they had to have him do it since he wants to keep Yamato around (furthering the "kakashi is gonna die" idea).

I've always used her as a long standing, rather powerful, firm(?), source of whore jokes.

I just couldn't help but go "Quiet, Whore!" the whole time I was playing the Gamecube Naruto games. (Note: hilarity ensued)

To the point: I really like her; but I don't see her being of any use or plot significance at this point.
