in my opinion
sasuke's appeareance is more like a samurai instead of ninja
because he use his sword [a bit] more often instead of his ninjutsu

Played tenchu or any other ninja game? They use swords there to kill people ...
Just because all of them use kunais doesnt mean that they shouldnt also have swords like normal proper ninja.
I would say that his oro-style clothes (kimono or whatever) give him more of samurai style than his sword. Samurais didnt use the backward sword (forgot name) but I think its this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninjato

maybe he uses the sword because he has no need to waste chakra on little battle he will probably use much more Ninjutsu when it comes to the big fights with Itachi and Kisame or other Akatsuki members.

You know that Samurai FIRST used Bow and Arrows on Horseback ride
THEN They evolved into Footcombat, using Spears, Swords and EVEN muskets < got to make very bold since some have the misconception that samurai were all that, no weapons etc (like despicted on that movie that I can't remember the name, that the guy captain got captured into a japanese samurai village) They might have even tried to not use at first.. but they did anyway

Samurai are bodyguards, most comparable to royal knights.
THey were used to protect the feldal lords, and deliver the taxes to the lords themselves.

ninja uses all weapons at their disposal to kill an foe. it shouldn't matter that he uses a sword like that right?

i agree that

but look oro, even he uses sword but he use his ninjutsu too [if i'm not mistaken]
the frequency is almost the same

but since sasuke killed oro [i assume that he killed oro] until the newest chapter
he use his sword more often than his ninjutsu.....

that's why i assume that he's more like samurai than ninja...

it's just because kishi is trying to make him look strong.

if he was tricking people with ninja tactics, instead of effortlessly destroying them, he'd come off like naruto. And nobody wants that.
