Yoai, which technically is actually an acronym so its Y.O.A.I. i forget what the words come out to but in sense it ment "Has no plot/has stupid plot".

When alot of it was brought over to the US alot of it was gay henti, and people began refering to it as "Yoai"

Yuri simply sounds like yaoi and is not a word as i understand it :P

And sorry! after a little while you dont even notice the gay images in fanfic anymore XD (the sai x sasuke things kishi did i didnt even notice first read through XD)

I dont know where you get all this, but you really need to check your sources.

Even though i'm a guy and im not into these kinds of things, my experience with having a fangirl sister have thought me one thing. It's YAOI, not yoai.

But these could merely be spelling errors, however, what i have to COMPLETELY disagree with you is to the meaning of the yaoi acronym. It is by no chance anywhere close from what you claim, i remember my sister saying the meaning once, and in japanese it was something obscene that i dont quite remember, but it probably was "stop my ass hurts"
ill have to check with my sister, shes a yaoi expert.

and even though im a guy, i have seen many shounen-ai animes, not YAOI, and they are by no means stupid and/or have no plot. Watch a few such as say, Loveless, gravitation or yami no matsuei and then you'll know what im talking about.
