Thread: Team 7 does not kill people

With the exception of Kakashi, none of the team has actually killed a person. It looks as though Kishimoto doesn't want to destroy their purity or something. Discuss please

Team 7 is too sentiamental at the moment.
first example: Zazbua and Haku Arc.
and besides think about most mangas that have some kind of dumb,strange, or scared leaders that always result to: i'm not going to kill anybody.
DBZ hurt that until they really actually had to do it.

Sai can kill people. If he doesnt see the value of a person to the other people in the team, I'm sure he could kill him without the hesitation that would be there for Naruto or Sakura.

But none of the original team 7 aside from Kakashi have actually murdered anyone with their own hands. I don't think that it means that they aren't capable of it. Just that they haven't had the opportunity to do it. I'm sure Naruto would have killed Kakuzu if he didn't have Kakashi to cover him and that Sakura would have killed Sasori herself if Chiyo didn't deliver the finishing blow.

As long as they can wound the enemy, it's fine. Besides, their objective is to capture.

Didn't Naruto kill that Itachi poser during the save Gaara arc with his giant rasengan?

Didn't Sasuke kill Oro? Or is Oro not a human being? Isn't killing snakes just as bad?

The thing about Oro is that he is still in Sasuke's head as far as we know.

Maybe Kishimoto favors the main characters a bit more in this fashion, but it's not like the other rookies haven't killed anyone, Neji, Chouji, and Shikamaru have each had at least one kill (that we know of).

Team 7 will probably get a chance soon enough.

The only real problem I saw was how Kakashi was the one who took out Kakuzu, though to be fair, that might have been added just so that they could exchange that "new generation" line.
