Manga is slow as hell.. anime is bound to be same.
But I only care for some things from the anime:
Morning Peacock, Odama-Rasengan, Kyubi Blast, Kakashi's Mangekyo, Hidan's Transformation, Hidan's decaptation, Rasen Shuriken training and hitting kakuzu..
Thats all.. other is just bonus.

honestly i can't take this shit anymore. you can't watch naruto anymore and not fall asleep. during the naruto, sasuke fight i almost pissed my pants an now there's nothing left of the excitement of the old episodes. an even if there's a one hour special, for which you have to wait two bloody weeks there's no progress. i'll probably stop watching the anime and start reading the manga again.
The problem with shippuden is that it tries to stretch one chapter's worth of manga material into one full 25 minute block. That's the reson the animations way slow and the reason why they added all the stupid Konoha academy stuff in the middle. In Part 1, the episodes covered multiple chapters and had good music to go along with it.
In part 2 they are more concerned with maintaining a slow pace to prevent catching up (Although going at one chapter a week is the same rate as Kishi's new chapter output per week) to the manga. Its really lame. And I miss the old music too...they've replaced it with such boring music now.
agree
I kind of missed that first ever Naruto chapter
intro and ending song.
and these days, all they can come up with are J-Poppish Rap
I believe the lame reintroduction of the Konoha academy stuff was
to to remind the viewers, who had abandoned watching Naruto
and it's endless Fillers.
I gotta say I completely agree here, with the timeskip the anime lost something that made it so fun to watch. The only reason I was watching the anime was to see the awesome fights, but if the anime is going to ruin them like this there's really no point into watching it for me. The still panels on the manga make Gai look faster than he's moving in the anime.
The anime has really gone down hill, thank goodness I'm still enjoying the manga.
