hmm if no one died, the story would never move forward and im pretty sure none of us would like naruto to become a kiddy manga where no one ever dies.

Be reasonable.
Sasori, Asuma and Orochimaru's death is in my opinion an OK plot device.
It actually brought depth into the story, (a smoking underage Shikamaru, how cool is that?)

And Shikamaru have his revenge of his senpai in only few chapters
and you know smoking is bad for your health, teeths (and Manga Investors!)
And for the sake of childrens I hope he quit smoking, and revert back to his
old lazy self

Definately Orochimaru's flash back occured after he left Akatsuki. So he likes to play dressup..
I've said on the spoiler topic, Itachi might not been in Akatsuki long enough, and Orochimaru might have tried to trick him that he was a member and take over itachi.

You have to agree that that's a pretty crappy explanation, just like how it now appears that the eyes on the statue are completely unrelated to the number of biju they are sealing.

Kishimoto is changing way too much this late into the manga.

Juugo's age is already a pretty big problem, and now he makes the situation between Itachi and Orochimaru much more complicated.

No. The just meant that they need 1-8 before they get 9.
They have more than just 4.
Didn't the manga say that they had already sealed 2 before they caputered Garaa (at least I think).
As far as I can remember, they only one left is Naruto.

I still can't fully believe that Oro is fully gone. Flame me if you want but of all people I think he's the best to swerve his way out of death. And as far as the chapter I'm still mad this wasn't a super-sized chapter. I expected to see two chaps worth and naruto putting his team together. I'm so disappointed.

And no Naruto isn't the only one left but I do think they now have 1-6 since 7, and 8 are probably going to take massive effort to capture. And 9 well catching Naruto is going to be like trying to kidnap the president.

Yeah, that would be inconsistent with what they seem to be doing.

I'm not sure if Deidara said that they captured them or just that they contacted them though.

We're not being shown ichi, ni, san, shi in that order without a reason I would think.
