i have nothing against the jutsu but i think the mangaka made few holes about its limit.

One could argue that he receives the recoil from the bunshin as well. Since Kishimoto brought up things from the bunshin carrying over I think that he would get the side effects even if a bunshin did use it.

MGS I seriouly doubt it. Because if bushins transferred physical damage to the technique user, it would be a HUGE plot hole. Think back when Naruto fought Neji, or Kimimaru. Thousands of clones got fists, bones, feet, chakra, and god knows what else put through their bodies. Naruto would be dead from insane external and internal injuries after the technique was dispersed. Not only that but if they did then the jutsu would lose 90% of its usefulness rendering it only practical for surprise attacks or combinations with other attacks.

Yea, the user doesnt receive any damage done to the bunshins. the reason he looks suprised to see his bunshins getting beat down is probably beacuse he thought that they would have gotten the job done, or atleast faired better than what they did. Like StealDragon said, Naruto would have been dead along time ago..and his body would show the effects of the damage done to him, which it doesn't

If Naruto's bunshins transferred physical changes, he would only have to do a day of physical training to become the most physically strong and fast ninja in the village, beating Lee's speed and strength.
That's why Naruto's bunshin training is only good for teaching techniques of the mind.
And going back to the Neji fight like Steal said, if Naruto got the damage of his bunshins, then why wasn't he affected when one of his bunshin's tenketsu was hit in the fakeout?

I think it's very clear that a Bunshin can't pull of that jutsu.
When Naruto created Rasengan he measured how much power he had infused in it, by the intensity of the pain (something like that).
If even the normal Rasengan hurts the body while creating it, that pain must be even higher for the shuriken.
Maybe the pain alone would destroy the Bunshin.

I just provided a possible explaination. Not that we really need one.


If a Bunshin could do it, nobody would've said to Naruto not to use Rasen-Shuriken anymore.
They would've told him not to use it himself and to let a bunshin do it.
If that were possible Kakshi and Tsunade would be smart enough to figure it out, don't you think.

For me that's enough prove that a Bunshin can't do it.

heres a thought, if bushins go poof whenever they recive any sort of damage, and the rasen shuriken does considurable damage to the user than maybe if he tryd to have a bushin use it, it would just go poof

Not exactly.. neji fight, his bushin pretty much stood there and took a very good blow.
Instead of instanly going puff...

So maybe depending on how much chakra you put into the clone may affect how much damage it can sustain.
Narutos cbushins also sustained some damage on sasuke fight, they burned a little before *puff*ing

But I belive the damage he takes from the wind rasen-shurinken is when the damage is dealt, not when he makes it..

But still, he could just make the Wind Rasen-Shuriken himself and handle to a bushin for the kamikazi mission.
Rasengan is a selfsustained jutsu. make handle and watch..

he doesn't have infinite chakra tho...
if he uses kage bunshin, his chakra is separated into the amount of bodies he split into. for ex. if he had 100 chakra and split into 20 kage bunshins(including himself), each kage bunshins and himself would have 5 chakra. so in the end, each kage bunshin would not be able to muster enough chakra to use the new technique.

which is why people say he's got like infinante chakra.

remmeber the garaa fight? what was it supposed to be...2000 clones? then summoning gamabunta? also with a few other tricks

the rasen shuriken probably starts doing damage to his hand as soon as he starts the attack,i think he cant complete it.which would result in another flop rasen shuriken like against kakuzu.
or also the clone could be attacked before the technique connects,which would result in a waste of chakra.
