Thread: Effects of the Shiruken Rasengan

Naruto is too much of a dumbass to realize he can send his kage bunshin to do his bidding.

I know Kishimoto is a good writer and all, but I hate the idea of the Rasen-Shuriken hurting naruto or be damaging to him. Naruto already has a lot of Restrictions on him, why add more??? I Know its for avoiding insane power-ups but adding restrictions to the Rasen-Shuriken is overdoing it ?

Actually, I'd say it's just because he can't throw it yet. I really hope that's the case, ya know.

Naruto always attacks straight forward and rarely uses projectiles...wouldn't it be nice if the lesson was that he needed to take himself and splash damage into consideration during his battles? That it's not smart to always rush head on like he's been trying to get into his head since he was barely a student?

If Naruto's bunshins don't reflect the damage back to the original, he could just make his bunshins pull the rasenshuriken instead of him, right?

yea. he's already had a bunshin create the rasenshuriken, so if he doesnt do that from now on, he'll have become severely retarded

The clone was a trap from the start. If he did a real shuriken, it would be a waste of energy, because Naruto had to do two (not counting the one he did, that didn't hit Kazuku) almost at the same time.
And because the bunshin was a trap, he didn't need to have a shuriken.
He was never meant to attack Kazuku in the first place.

It could be that the shuriken we see the bunshin holding, is just another bunshin doing henge.
Have you ever thought of that?

And Kishi is not that stupid to make such a mistake. The whole "damage to Naruto" point would've been a waste of panels.
And it would make Kakashi, Yamato, Ino etc look stupid. Because they didn't realize that the "damage to Naruto" point is obsolete because a bunshin can do it.

could be but didnt yamato say himself somthing along the lines of doing 3, 1 more than training and we know he did two legit so the other one must of been the kb doing it

I way overthought this and I know people HATE it when you try to use real world physics in a Naurto discussion. But the rasen-shuriken in its present form requires the transfer of kinetc energy to maximize damage. In order for the kinetic energy to be properly transferred to the body of the victim, it must be delivered from a solid base (naruto's body) If the base were to dissapear before all the kinetic energy was transferred, any remaining energy would be wasted and be harmlessly discharged the oppostite direction, lessening the damage of the attack. If a clone delivered the attack and was destroyed as soon as the impact of a successful hit started to damage the clone's arm, the rest of the damage would be negated. Only the real body can stand there as a solid base throughout the entire delivery.

if he was able to learn to throw and control it while it's in the air this wouldn't be a problem...
and if he can't throw it why wouldn't he make it in the form of something with more reach like a spear...

idk man....I was kinda hoping for a thrown thing as well.
