They can come up with thosands of witty ways to define why they named snake.. its sneak, eat weasels etc

Why would you name a team, if the team has ONLY one purpose, and probably will be disbanded (if alive) after mission complete.
Are they planing on giving flyers recruiting people for "team Snake"?
They aren't going to comunicate with other people, so also creating a name is pointless as only the 4 will know the name and have a use for it, and no one will call themself as members of team snake.

They tried to make Sasuke look cool naming a team, but.. not really

I never said it was a good name, I just said you guys are putting way too much into the name (which was simple to figure out). I mean, make a theory based on a name? How vein is that.

^You do bring up a good point. There really is no point to naming a group unless it has big plans (like Akatsuki). Sasuke may have more in mind than defeating Itachi or may have made plans for after defeating Itachi. But, you're right, there's no point naming a group with a singular and temporary purpose.

if I remember the story right, correct me if I don't, after Sasuke kills off Itachi, wouldn't he be going off the person(s) who persuaded Itachi to kill the clan? Wouldn't Akatsuki clan be one of the factors that had caused some of Sasuke's suffering when Itach went off to join them?

No one knows for sure why Itachi killed the clan. When Sasuke asked Itachi, he only gve some cryptic remark about how to expand his container. A lot of people think that it may have been a price to get into Akatsuki, but that hasn't been confirmed.

Yup, the reason why Itachi killed his whole clan except Sasuke is still a mystery.
Yeah, getting deep into akatsuki's hideout surely needs to pay some price, otherwise, the story wouldn't be that interesting.

Back to the topic, so, Sasuke's group uses Hebi (Snake) as the group name. I don't really see any problem with it. It is fine with me.

kishi tried to continue his "make sasuke the coolest" gimmick and failed.
im not that fussed though.as long as the name doesnt come up much again
