Yeah no where close to filler. If you feel betrayed by the new arc then read the manga but yeah not filler not filler whatsoever.

You know, manga also have fillers...

except for one problem the section of the manga the anime is on is the exact beginning of the post time skip era. And was heralded by the Kakashi Gaiden. And was widely discussed as the beginning of a new day for Naruto. Otherwise on this you'd be right.

I liked the episode. I really liked how amazing Sakuras become. In Naruto I didn't really like her she was weak and a crybaby, but in Naruto Shippuden she really is an awesome medical ninja.

It was average but is definitly upgrading to awesome now that Itachi and Kisame appeared.

no...unless you think the omakes at the end are fillers...then...idk

the kakashi gaiden was a manga filler.
of course it was written by the mangaka,and it is canon and ties in with the original storyline,but its still a filler.

the thing is. naruto episodes are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to dragggggggggggged out similar to thhhhhhhhissssssssss liiiiiiiiineeeeeeeeee. we have 3 minutes of scenary followed by sakura healing some dude for 20 minutes of the show YAY. and the drawing quality of naruto is dropping too >_> shame. the fights are also pretty boring.. like the fight when sakura and naruto had to get the bells from kakashi, it was pretty boring and lacked fast paced action. I mean if you rewatch previous episodes, it seemed at least a bit faster.
