hmmm, i'm on two minds of the issue. i hate the 4th=AL idea and while honestly i believe AL is gonna be some person we've yet to meet i can't decide whether "zomg naruto goes back in time and is AL!" would be cool or not. A deidolized naruto who killed off all his loved ones due to the foxes chakra is something i'd love to see while the whole "time-travel ninjutsu" is just so stupid i think i'd have problems reading it...

Ignore the vid when i ask this, its just there to show why i'm asking.

It would tie in nicely along with that Naruto Movie 4 OVA that they are doing where time travel or him for seeing his death ties in.

their goal is to take over the world with the tailed beats right...? i dont think they are gonna change the agenda for the day for a while

Say it were to be Naruto the Al character I think it would somewhat make the series a bit confusing. First how the heck would a time traveling jutsu come to be. So far I have not seen a justu time related so this might be weird. It might also make younger Naruto question his morality. So who knows.

The whole time travel seems more along Yondaime's ability. If he can have dimensional transport, I can somewhat imagine him being able to dimensionally transport. Not that I like the AL=Yondaime theories though (I hate them).

By Naruto nature only way that he would come up with a time travel jutsu, would if something very bad happened, and not even a reincarnation jutsu would work..
I don't just see him going back, and even trying to kill himself (that would certainly create a plot hole) to stop some future biju war/disaster
If were to think someone from the future came, I wound't say naruto. But his SON.

Still the utopia thing, if the bijus are bad, destroy them.. not store in a jar!

Its just, if naruto came back from the future to prevent the future generations to use bijus, he alone could take care of all others, including himself.

BTW as to the plot hole; not nessisarily.

Assuming AL is naruto (from future) then one could assume that ALnaruto's time never had the organization call akatsuki. Which would lead to MANY different events. One of which being orochimaru wouldn't have gone after sasuke to match itachi since he would likely never have met itachi.

Time travel is fiction, no way around it.

The theme of concurring events; "u cant change the past unless you already changed it" is prevalent in some storys but there also exists time as in the idea of differnet dimensions. where alternate events cause opposed realities or even parallel realities.


again though: shikimaru comes up with a time travel jutsu...plz god no...
