Thread: Uchiha Eye problem...?

I cant belive this havent been discuase here O.o

Ok thru out the manga/anime its been pointed out the Uchihas have eyes problems(not been pointed what the problem is but theres one) Kakashi have mention it (reason he covers his eye) its been mention to Itachi and even Ubito had it(before even having sharingan)

any theories?

Kakashi covers it because he can't "turn off" his sharingan (I have my own theory about that).

Itachi has problems because he used the MS too much.

And Obito cried a lot and he used "dust in his eye" as a rationalization, even though he wore goggles.

I think it's just itachi because he overworks it

kishimoto is clearly a sasuketard. He won't let Sasuke have a weakness like that. He already got rid of the whole 'cursed seal is bad for you' thing without a second thought.

I just wish that earlier in the manga, someone had explicitly said that mangekyou turns you blind (so I could laugh at whatever mysterious new info popped up to keep sasuke the super fantastic, unbeatable ninja who all girl ninjas must lose control around)

the MS kills ur vision and kakashi can't use his sharingan without draining his chakra. that's why they seem to have problems. or maybe they do too much drugs and they get bloodshot eyes (lol)

Don't be stupid. The curse seal still has problems and we are about to learn more about its problems now that we will meet Juugo.
The ms gives everyone eye problems. Kakashi asks Itachi how bad his eyesight is and Itachi immediately makes a comment about how Kakashi could not have gotten the ms. They don't mention it by name but both know exactly what the other is talking about.

You might end up right, I'll wait and see, but, it sure seems like it's not going to be anywhere near as bad as previously thought. Maybe not even bad at all. Plus he used it to fight against the guy it was 'supposed' to make him a puppet of. When I read those chapters I thought an internet Sasuke fan hacked into kishimoto's computer and re-wrote the script

That makes no sense at all.

to sum it all up:

kakashi cant use the sharingan for an extended amount of time because he is not an uchiha and it drains his chakra much faster. sasuke and itachi can maintain the sharingan because they are uchihas.
it was pretty much clearly stated(clear to me) in the manga that the MS deteriorates the eye site of the user, like adonai said why would they lie?
obito was just a cry baby who used the excuse "i have dust in my eyes"

yeah that too but if you think about it its still on(draining chakra) even if he covers it wich is the reason hes allways tired >.<

No, its like a "stand by" mode..

Its draining chakra but something lets say on the level of walking up trees.
Just not enough to affect him..


When he takes off the patch, is when he starting using lots of chakra, the eye start to work, copying, seeing etc..

Itachi is about 100&#37; of the times with sharingan on.
Doesn't kisame tells itachi, that he "keeps overusing the eye"?
If he did tell that, yea could be that he was refering to MS, but could be also refering to sharingan as general.

Maybe only MS have the side effects, or maybe that sharingan has side effects, but if you only have 3 tomoes, the effects won't manifest as soon as if you have MS

And Itachi has what? 5 years of MS and his sight is already FUBAR?
I doubt he went to every single fight out there using MS..

Or maybe he did, If was me I'd use it a little to mess with people heads..

But still 5 years is very short..
