Is Sasuke over powered? how does naruto measure up?

Discuss whether or not you believe Sasuke is too strong, and compare that to Naruto's current abilities.


ok.........sasuke managed to defeat maybe 1000 people, we dont if they were shinobi or just regular henchmen. from what we've seen of sasuke so far he is able to use nature manipulation extremely well, with the full body chidori sword etc. the biggest one up that sasuke might have is that he has the sharingan, and possibly the mangekyu.

on the other hand, naruto has finaly begun to use his bunshins to their fullest. he is now capable of adding his wind element to the rasengan which is the highest form of shape manipulation.(something no one, even the 4th couldnt manage) though the new shuriken rasengan may hurt his hand, it may only be because the jutsu is still as of now incomplete as yamato said. possibly once the jutsu is complete it may have no real devastating effect to naruto.

I think Naruto needs a buff, and Sasuke needs to be hit by the Nerf bat.

sasuke is not overpowered its just the clan's ability if all sharingan users were overpowered why was the 4th the strongest ninja ever? point proven on top of that naruto has kage bushin's which he is able to complete jutsu's in an instant just by massing them and trying to learn a new technique at once so its pretty fair the rasengan will always hurt naruto's hand no matter what since ur applying force by using ur hand...on top of its explosive ability even when its complete only means the destructive power will go up more hence hurting his hand more. also in the manga there were plenty incidents where mass shinboi got raped easily so its nothing new

Naruto is stronger, but Sasuke is just a better ninja in every single way.

Naruto needs HGH to save him...

while naruto was training with kakashi to add the wind element to rasengan, naruto used approx. 500-1000 clones that had a rasengan in one hand. so why doesnt naruto do a mass rasengan move in battle. i doubt even a full body chidori can stop that many rasengans.

Full body chidori can't stop a single one. Although I can imagine naruto using his fuuton rasengan, at 50% completion, and the chapter ending as Sasuke pulls out a similar looking rasengan, and the 2 collide. Next chapter, turns out Sasuke used that moment to complete fuuton rasengan. Would be quite possible/hilarious...

BTW, wouldn't Oro need 6 more months for a body transfer?

kakashi said that copying a jutsu as difficult as fuuton rasengan with the sharingan is impossible. sasuke may be a genius but he is not stronger then the 4th who couldnt add his element to rasengan. though i can see sasuke using a normal rasengan.
orochimaru didnt need 6months when he took that prisoners body, because sasuke didnt arrive in time.
scrach the 500 rasengans thingy, he only did about 60 to 100 rasengans during training. :/

Naruto needs to go break in to the Hokage library and learn some more moves. He could abuse it now with the clone thing. Imagine Naruto learning some normal high level wind moves from the books. I mean him stealing that Kage Bushin scroll made him who is today. It would be cool if he sent his clones out to learn moves from others in the village. Like he can have some train with rock Lee and Gai, have some continue working on the fuuton ransegan, and have some study the hokage books. Naruto has the potential to learn now just as much as Sasuke(well maybe a step under). He just needs to use it.

I realy don't think Sauske is that strong I mean when they fought at the waterfall sasuke went Lvl 3 and Naruto only had 1 tale and the only reason that I seen sasuke won is because he has longer arms. If they went truly all out against each I would say Naruto infact the only chance that Sasuke has for his survival is the fact that he has more skill.
