Thread: nature manipulation of characters.

asuma, haku, naruto-wind
sasuke, sandaime-fire
sandaime-earth
kakashi, sasuke-lightning...

what are the nature for sakura, shikamaru, and all the other characters? how about gaara? would he be just considered earth? what will be naruto's second nature? discuss or predict the nature of any character you want to.

kakashi is water as well. haku is ice ( wind and water), and some use more hijutsu than nature manipulation like Shikamaru,Kiba and Shino.For Naruto it would be nice if he had the second nature of water or earth to counter fire, but gives a vunrability to the other element that Sasuke has.

I don't think sakura has one yet and shikamaru has a adv blood line which allows him to merge two elements to make shadow, I'm guessing it's same for gaara except he got his power from Shukaku or it might be a adv blood line as well maybe he's wind and earth... and also I'm pretty sure haku couldn't manipulate wind but had the bloodline to merge wind and water to form ice...

I would like for Naruto and Sakura to have water manipulation. At least Sakura so it could be Wind, Lightning, and Water- the power of the Storm (Susanoo).

It's not a Kekkei Genkai, it's a clan jutsu.

It's a clan secret jutsu, just like Shino and his bugs, like Chouji and his ability to turn food(fat) into chakra. Kakashi is earth, water, lightning.

Sakura doesn't have enough chakra to perform ninjutsu, this is why she is a medic nin and uses chakra to enhance her strength.

Shikamaru doesn't have Kekei genkai for godsakes... his jutsu is just a family secret much like ino's, chouji's, kiba's and that bug dude's...

^ No, there hasn't been any limit placed on the number of elements you have. The two elements thing should just be ignored, he just said that jounin typically have at least 2.

We've seen Kakashi use water many time, lightening in the form of raikiri, and Earth while he was first introduced and when he summons his dogs sometimes.

I thought it is like this: You can have many perfected but you need ultra talent or an advanced bloodline to merge it but when you do: one person (Shikimaro for example) merges two and has shadow but some other person merges the same two but in result has something else than shadow.
