In chapt 297, yamato says this to sakura:

Hmph...
Sakura I can tell just by looking at you... the truth is...

<interrupted by naruto who wakes up>

what do you think yamato was gonna say?

sounds like he was gonna say

"the truth is...i'm your father."

naw.. seriously, i think sakura cares for naruto but still doesn't love him... like she loves sasuke...i mean, the expression on her face when she meets sasuke after 3 years... says it all..

although you never truely get over your first crush even if you come to love another. plus before orochimaru starts his fight with the third when other girls starts saying how great naruto is she gets jelous.

that she really cares about naruto's well being.that she's now very sensitive in caring for naruto especially after sakura heard about kyubbi being sealed in naruto.

Hinata + Naruto

Yamato was going to say "you love him." But I don't think it's that kinda "love." It's more of a brother and sister type of love. I want Hinata to end up with Naruto.

I've entered a world where "love" has a universal definition and an irrefutable chart of levels, huh?

Personally, I'm on a similar track and all; I just figured he was going to say "you really care about what happens to him."

It is evident that sakura had feelings for naruto, as early as the first conflict with Zabuza. Also....rule one of the Highschool Rulebook on Romance is....1). if she is always hitting you, she likes you doofus.....Rule number two states.....2). in case of rule #1, she will not admit this if you are a geek, nerd, or outcast.....

Kid Flash, the archetypic scenarios you presented have another condition that you haven't metioned. The girl also has no interest and hasn't shown interest in other guys. Sakura doesn't fit that bill- she liked Sasuke from the beginning and has never expressed that her feelings have changed.
Yamato was obviously saying something to the extent that Sakura loves Naruto. But like Shinobu03 said, Sakura's love for Naruto is more like a familial affection than lover's love. That type of love is not a surpirse at this point, especially if you remember that she became more tolerant of Naruto after he saves her from Gaara, learns he is a jinchuriki, and after he makes her a promise to bring back Sasuke. She's also extra accepting at this point maybe because she feels a sense of guilt for treating Naruto like crap at the beginning of their relationship.
