So what? The victory is what counts and it doesn't matter how you archive it.
Look not only this chapter sucks but it also show that Naruto is truly stupid. He had no backup plans when he was attacking Kazuku. if it wasn't for Kakashi or yamato he would have been killed by Kazuku. So even if he wins we can't count it really as a win because he had to be helped.
And as for my Oda referral, At least Oda knows when to be funny and when not to be.That was uncalled for. If you are trying to bring up a character, why knock him down seconds later?? plus isn't Wind-type supposed to be mid-range? why didn't kishimoto create a mid-range wind attack instead of another Rasengan derivation?? lack of creativity
Not to mention that Naruto didn't know about the time limit of the jutsu.
If it hadn't dispersed he would've owned Kazuku.
So it's not his fault he didn't have a backup plan (you can't always have one anyways)
It's the same like Kakashi piercing Kazuku with the chidori just to learn it didn't kill him. Kakshi didn't have a backup plan.
Just like the time his heart was only saved from leaving his body because Hidan stabbed himself.
Is Kakshi weak or stupid because of that? No he isn't.
But I agree that chapter was a waste of time.
Kishi already had build up the suspense enough. He could have made that part with the idea of them all attacking Kazuku and that bridge stuff right after he made the fuuton was about to attack.
About fuuton. Maybe it is a mid-ranged weapon and either Naruto can't throw it until it's finished or he just didn't think of throwing it until Chouji mentioned it (would seem Naruto like *gg*)
