Fighting against Kazuku, thats as real as it gets. I forgot to address the person who said: Naruto takes too long to make the Rasengan, and he used the example of the fight with Kabuto. The explanation is Kabuto is sorta weak, but smart, like Shika, so he didnt want to get hit at all and he was able to speedily stop Naruto from making and attacking with Rasengan (not in the end though). But strong enemy like Kazuku are cocky, they want to see the oponent jutsu and try to deal with it, but this time, even Kazuku after seeing it, say he will try to ovoid it. Just dont forget that timing is relative...so relative to that person, Naruto might seem fast or slow...Same goes for intelligence...

I just hope Kishimoto doesn't make it a habit for all Naruto's new Jutsus to be a type of rasengan. it'll be real corny and it'll lack creativity. Naruto already has three attacks that are the same already: odama, rasengan, fuuton rasengan.whats next??

And no please lets not fool ourselves, Naruto aint smart. But I still think the manga overall is movin in a positive direction contrary to other similar games which i shall not name.

I guess you hace a point. But once Naruto's enemy know his jutsu, I guess it won't be that easy anymore. Naruto needs to find some way to master his jutsu just by using his own two hands without relying too much on his clones.

People keep saying this, but I have to disagree. Naruto has shown a few cases of intelligence over the course of the manga. His personality may be not that bright, but he has put together solid strategies when in combat. I may make a topic later and list off those moments, rather than get into it here.

i agree with you. Naruto might not be as smart as Neji, Shikamaru, and Sasuke, but the good thing is Naruto's growing. If I'm correct, one of the main example is his fight with Kiba during Chunin exam. Though the whole fight may considered as hilarious, still, Naruto's growth reflects on the way he opposed him. He actually remembers what Kakashi tells him during survival test and then applied it on the said battle. Now, with his fight with Kakuzu, he doesn't just use his Shadow Clones just to be strangled by Kakuzu's threads, but to gather information on how he fight.

btw, as for the jutsu, i hope Naruto has more techniques rather than that. But knowing Kishimoto-sama, am sure we're still in for more suprises

you know... it isnt illogical that kakuzu didnt instantly attack naruto n allowed him to create the fuuton rasengan... i mean... suddenly the vessel to the nine tails pops up in front of you n attacks you lamely with bushins... you'll stop n look at the dude right? n then you'll probably have heard about this vessel since it's your job to hunt down these guys so you'll know naruto is not exactly a threat at all... n then naruto suddenly creates a new jutsu tt you've nv seen before n it's ferocity stuns you... obviously you'll stay rooted for a moment to look at the spectacle right? it's very acceptable that kakuzu didnt attack immediately as how some ppl whined about...

maybe the reason why kakuzu didn't attack naruto from the start is b'coz he still wants to see what naruto can do to him.to see is to believe that is kakuzu and hidan's motto!that's the reason why they didn't listen to deidaria's warning about naruto.also naruto is not as smart as shikamaru/or neji but he's a natural strategist when it comes to the real battle.
