okay my brother had some insight he would like to share with TILT
Raw power is a strategy, in all of human history brute force has been the dominating strategy of all wars
For instance, the Civil War. The north won only due to attrition. They had more soldiers, supplies, and over all more force. Even though the South did win a couple of key battles with strategy and better skill, in the end the North won due to superior force
Or take for instance any other war in ancient times. The one with the most force of men and supplies would always in a battle.
Even today people fear the united States due to its vast armada of nuclear bombs and rather large army comparing to the rest of the world armies.
So who would you side with? The country who has larger amounts of force and power and obviously stronger than the opponent or the one who just has genius. Because Genius cant help you slip through everything
So you can see that brute force and over powereing destruction has been the dominating strategy of all mankind for the entire history of the species. Not only that but the force would always win.
As for the traps. The traps where a chain reactions, and if you had a hand sticking through your chest, would you be more worried about the pain? or the fact that he might have stuck a capsule with your blood. Plus Kakuzu really didnt know of the capsule and therfore didnt need hidan, as we've seen Kakuzu has been destroying the other nin.
Your view that Kakuzu is weak and cant fight on his own strength is and oddity, its like saying humans are weak becasue we cant produce our own food.
You see its his way of fighting therefore its his strength, and if you think about it in order to acquire any ninjas to begin with would require you to kill one originally meaning he had to have some power. Plus if he could survive for so damn long then his strategy must have some bearing.
totally waste of my time ...it was too short...the only thing good was the part of asuma and shika with the cigar...
btw. wtf does ĻimoĻ mean????eah, sorta looks like it. But we'll see in the next chapter. But imo, this chapter was a waste...blah.
"In my opinion"
this is targeted mostly to the people who have written long posts in the past page and a half.
it seems as though you people here are trying too hard to classify people into 'weak' and 'strong' catagories. in terms of physical strength, shikamaru is pretty weak, whereas hidan and kakuzu are quite strong. however shikamaru is, as previously stated, a super genius and thus still counts as a strong ninja because of his strategies. hidan and kakuzu and strong because of their physical stregth/jutsu level. just because hidan was defeated by shikamaru doesnt change the fact that he is extermely powerful and could probably kill most ninjas. same goes for shikamaru. all he did was play to his strengths to accomplish his goal. (avenging asuma)

Well said. Thats pretty much what i want to say but in fewer words, except, ppl rarely listen unless you speak in their terms. They largely want to protect their idol's image, because there are ppl dont pay repect to the characters...Or those who inflate the character's ability, by taking what the character is best at to cover everything else. For me if one person does it, that ok, but when lot of ppl start tagging along and post the same thing, it gets annoying (for those looking for something interesting to read)

Killing time while waiting for the next chapter. OnePiece, that is.
Is this truly, absolutely, positively, indubitably the end of Hidan?
We know that even though theses guys can die, they don't "die". Shikamaru had a brilliant plan, but if Sai and Sakura are going to come to his aid, will that mean that Hidan will not yet be defeated? On the other hand, it does seem final since Shikamaru apparently come to some kind of reconciliation with Asuma's spirit.
No, Kakuzu also was "dead" after Kakashi preiced him with Raikiri, and what we saw next?
So, I think, there will be more action.
Anyway, we might see Wind Rasengan amplified with Kyuubi chakra next...

Sorry to disagree with u here, but one purpose of the training is not to use kyuubi chakra, and use Naruto's.Then again, that seems fishy. Does that mean Yamato have to supress the Kyuubi so that naruto can use his charka freely during real battle? Of course not. But this isnt the first time we encounter inconsitency in made-up worlds. I mean its not like Naruto learn to supress the Kyuubi and use his own chakra himself...someone else does it for him, so the effect cant be that he is able to do it himself now.
p.s. please response only if you have some good explanation or interpretation. Here, i only mention the defect and content that there isnt any good explanation for it.

Correction the purpose of the training was for naruto to learn new jutsu quickly. and to do he had to use his chakra and not the kyuubi's.
Yamato was there to prevent kyuubi from interfering. in battle situations naruto will able to use his jutsu even if it is 50% complete.
