Thread: What if Naruto was darker

I know this is probably a stupid Thread. But who else would like to see Naruto series revolving a time of War? Like a Darker more serious type of naruto where massive battles happen between countries. And assassionation attempts are common and missions are actually very dangerful where they could lose there life on any mission. We're the gang would going in to enemy bases and countries and take out high ranking and troops? I'd like to hear any ideas on this. I like how the 2nd chap has kinda gotten darker and more serious but anyway... lol

I would actually like naruto a lot better if it was like that... its too childish right now :/ also naruto would probably mature a lot quicker

Yeah I would like to see Akatsuki achieve there goal in the future not take narutos nine tail but start wars with other countries and the naruto crew would have to learn how to take lives since ive never really seen someone kill another person out of the original gennin. But I dunno it just if the series progressed liked that It would get me alot more excited and maybe put up with fillers haha

Darker as in you see people's bodies being ripped apart as opposed to them nearly always surviving what should have been fatal wounds?

It's a bit late to change it now, the entire concept behind the manga would be different that way.

It is a shonen manga after all, and even in part II there are still very few deaths, and the level of violence is still much lower than in any seinen manga.

Yeah I know its just something to imagine. Not as much as ripping bodies apart, 1/4 of the skull missing, blades loged in heads. But I dunno ripping bodies apart kinda like kakshi ramming his hand threw karuka chest lol. But I really ment darkers as more serious like I rather die than fail attitude I mean comedy is good sometimes but just too much of it like they have done is kinda annoying . The war setting really is to keep the story more action packed and serious. I mean I rather watch naruto neji shik and kakashi go to the rock village and take out a feudul lord than them catching a bug or transporting someone. OR having alot of the members fight in a huge battle that would decided who had rule over that base/bridge/fortress/city/country than watching naruto catch animals. I mean the new chaps have done a real good job at keeping my attention and going from one thing to another so im not complaining about them I love em cant wait for feb 15.

^ Are you talking about the fillers or part II of the manga? You seems to be mentioning both of them, and they're completely different.

To be honest I just want the writing to improve to the same quality it used to have. I prefer keeping my seinen and shonen separate. Gotta love the death and violence in some of them.

nah I just used the fillers as examples that I dont want to see. the new chaps I think are pretty awesome and can wait till they start on feb 15. I was just saying It would be nice to see them doing things like that but the new chaps r good and getting better and not complaining about them

i seriously.. think that it'd be weird to see naruto suddenly mature. i mean, when sakura first sees him after 3 years, she thought he matured, but i KNEW that his "new sexy technique" or so called immature stuff would come up soon...

I think that if Naruto should be darker; I mean he spent a whole 3 years training and he's not the least bit tanned!
