Thread: Can Kakashi open the gates

I was watching the naruto marathon and i was in the episode
where Kakashi was climbing the mountain. He wasnt able to do it so
is shows a chart of the body and kakashi just says open

I'm pretty sure he is able too and don't we have a Q and A thread?

Well that particular moment reveals that he can at least open the first gate.

Kakashi pulled his headband back when Rock Lee was opening the gates
or was it between gate 3 and gate 4, its too late for me to remember stuff like that.

i highly doubt that opening gates can be copied.

Doesn't the manga clearly show that he opens the gate while he is climbing the tree?

I read it the first time and that is what I thought.

Does this mean that you don't think he opened the gate or just that he didn't copy it?

Kakashi doesn't have to, copy it, he could have learned it like normal ninja (though I do think that he did copy it).

Kakashi opened the first gate while climbing the moutain to help Sasuke train.

could someone please tell me what episode, of the anime, this happens in. I cant remember this happening at all. I have only seen all the episodes once and that was more than a year and a half ago. So I cant remember when this could've happened.
And another question, off topic, what episode was the first filler cuz I'm thinking of downloading the series but I dont want to download the shit fillers unless you guys have any filler arcs that are recommended. Thank You.

he probably did open a gate. but i don't think he copied it but maybe learned it from somewhere else.
