Thread: Can Kakashi open the gates

Cleaning can disrupt the skin color and also the veins appear as the life gate is opened and the loss of pupuls. Note below the 3rd puts stress on the spinal cords and nervous system, (veins, pupils, skin pigments) All connected to the main nervous system. The video points at them opening accordingly; Opening only the 3rd gate would put stress on the other gates restricting them. Note that, that isnt the strain on the body they mention the gates in themselves harm the body. Im saying just opening one in conjuction would put strain on the chakra flow and instead of boosting its chakra it would restrict the chakra. Like 1st and 2nd are sealed and the 3rd released, 1st and 2nd tiny holes 3rd completly open. The 3rd would force huge ammounts of chakra to the 1st and 2nd and all that energy cannot get through.

possibility (raw could prove otherwise) Cleaning the scans accidently remove the coloring of his skin? A mistake of an editor Its happened alot they make alot of mistakes. I say this because of the switches between him being dark and him being light throughout using the tech

Lee just cant mold chakra to nin and gen which has been stated previously

The eight chakra gates are eight specific points on a person's chakra circulatory system. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By opening these gates, the user can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own bodies. Rock Lee is able to open the first five gates. Guy, who taught Lee the skill, is able to open at least six. The gates and what they release are listed below:

1. Opening (Initial) releases the brain's limit on the total strain on the muscles, giving the user five times their normal strength.
2. Rest (Heal / Energy) releases the brain's limit on the body's stamina, making a battle-worn person become miraculously ready to fight as if the fight had just started.
3. Life is located on the spinal cord, and releases the limit on the nervous system, which makes information travel at a faster rate and creates even more stamina. As a side effect, the user's skin turns red, indicating an increased blood-oxygen level.
4. Pain (Harm / Wound) releases the limit on oxygen intake in the lungs, creating much more oxygen for the body to use.
5. Closing (Limit) releases the limit on the amount of chakra released at one time.
6. Joy (View) removes the limit on how much fat and proteins the intestines can digest, and releases otherwise useless energy resources, giving the user even more power and stamina.
7. Shock (Wonder / Insanity) removes the limit on how fast the body can move, removes wastes from dead skin cells to feces, and gives the body a much cleaner system to work with, producing even more power and stamina.
8. Death opens the final gate located at the heart and uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. All the energy in every individual cell is used up, giving the user power well above that of any Kage. This "big bang" effect is only temporary, and destroys every muscle in the user's body, including the heart. Death is assured when opening this gate.

hmm.... i believe that the gates function independantly. if guy had to had to open all the gates systematically then he would have opened the first gate,then second then so and so fourth. guy just said the 6th gate,nothing els. not only that but i believe that if guy did open all 6 gates that he would have been much stronger....when lee opened up to the third gate against garra, he seemed to be moving a lot faster then guy was against kisame after he released.

shouldnt the hyugas be able to use the jutsu, i mean with all their knowledge of the chakra network and how i works....

Yes he can open the gates.

no i think that when he says open 6th gate,he means 1 through six.opening only six would cause problems with chakra flow(or mebbe cause the previous 5 to open anyway).not to mention that its very difficult to do that(opening only 6).
what i'm wondering is how guy was able to finish kisame and act like nothing happened..
where is the strain?

^ How do you know that at all? Why should it force open the previous gates or require them to be open?

Like I said before, no red skin, if you can't answer that first, what's the point of your argument?

He only opened the sixth after all, it should be comparable to initial lotus, he's not going to collapse from doing that.
