Thread: who would make a better main character than naruto?

so really, who would make a better main character than naruto? someone who doesn't have ADHD and an IQ below 70? Who doesn't make you want to scream at your computer screan for being so remarkably stupid? I mean leading characters can be successfully replaced in a series, take 20th century boys for example.

I'd personally love for naruto to die trying to save sasuke for the third time and then making Shikamaru the main character. Oh imagine how maginficent that would be!

I would choose a completely new character, or at least one that hasn't been focused on a lot.

Preferably one of Sasori's puppets (as himself) brought back to life.

I would like to see Tobi as a main character of something, be it of the manga if you will but there isnt alot we know about him but he rules.

Sasuke. With him as main character, jees, things would get awesome. And all those conspiracy theories would actually have a higher chance of being true, because the way it is now, a side character wont have a better twist than the main character. The whole Uchiha thing (Itachi, tengu theory, Kyubi allied with Uchiha, Tobi=Obito, another level of Mangekyo sharingan) is way better than the possibility that AL is Yondaime is Naruto's Father. AND Sasuke is also an orphan.

Who would be good/ not better, probably 4th at his childhood no wait a second he would be the same as naruto only that his teacher would be a perv ^^. Naruto need to read kakashi manga so he will become more perv and get better chances for hokage ....

For me, It's either Sasuke, Neji or Lee

These characters are better fit i think.

Sasuke because he is an anti-main character(like Gutts, Raito, Kyo, Mugen...)

Neji well because he's neji.

Lee because he's an less stupid underdog-type character than Naruto(even with that gay getup)

I think Shikimaru would make quite a nice main character (he is a main character of this little ongoing Kakuzu/Hidan side-plot and I like him in leading role...)

On the other side the absolutly WORST and most horrible leading character ever would be Sasuke. Even Naruto is at least 100 times better than him...
