Thread: who would make a better main character than naruto?

Rock Lee or Shikamaru

Well some ideas come to mind on this.

but what I liked best, would instead of having a set "main character"
you have a 3rd person tell history, where is not focused on just one.
Or even the main characters are the "bijus" themselves.

Thats even make it funny how a super powered biju (9tails) got stuck with Naruto lol

I whole-heartedly believe that Naruto is a good main character. Despite him not being a genius ninja (as the real concept of ninja, not Narutoverse ninja), I think he may be considered quite a genius when it comes to fight, or at least, quite creative. Also he's a good hearted and funny guy, he may not be your regular badass, yet he has had his cool moments.

If I had to choose for another main character, I'd honestly choose Sasuke. Why? His whole personal story, the plot, and rumours that revolve around the story of the Uchiha Clan. I think that his personality would also make him a good main character. His serious demeanor, and arrogance makes him quite outstanding. I've never found him to be an emo character, even if he happens to dwell in the past. Still, an important point about him is that even if he has many flaws, he's a good person. I'd really like him to have more time to be developed, for I have always had the idea that he has potential as a character.

I always liked those manga where there is not one main character but many who's stories come together.

naruto is the fittest character there...


the typical badass main character is not really indemand in shonen genre...

people likes those innocent, naive, childish, and especially good-hearted guys like luffy and goku...
w/ those guys no one will be explaining to us how things work in their specific universes... they even extremely powerful(insanely)

better main character would change the title of the show

If Gaara was the main the show would be called Gaara, not Naruto
