Thread: Elemental chakra weakness

we have seen recently that kishimoto added a scheme to elemental chakra weakness and advantages kinda like pokemon so we have seen that:
fire beats wind
wind beats lightning
lightning beats earth
earth beats water
water beats fire
but then what kind of elemental chakra can beat yamatos mokuton? or hakus ice jutsus? both of them has been stated that they are bloodline limits and that they are combinations water+earth for wood and wind+water brings ice so that brings another question are all bloodline limits combination of elemental chakra or only those of haku and yamato.

I'm pretty sure the fire element is canceled out due to the water in the mix of the ice element. As for the wood element, I'm sure lightning will have it's way with it, since the mix of earth and water might trigger some sort of super effect. But we can't be sure yet, since we don't know if other elements effect others as well.

I would say that wind beats mokuton because it's neutral but haku doesn't have any neutral elements against him.

I'm assuming that a bloodline jutsu or genetic jutsu (no matter the origin), doesn't really have a natural weakness. I doubt that will be something made to perfectly counter the iron sand/wood jutsus/ice/the doujutsu bloodlines.

Besides, not everything about chakra has been explained yet, and probably never will, unless Kishimoto is going to continue with this pattern of introducing new explanations in this past arc.

I'm still a little annoyed that Raikiri is suddenly more "lightning Chakra" than "Hand-Impaler."

One more thing, as long-time-ago and rhetoric as it may have been, Haku gave the impression that Ice was still weak against heat.

Nope, fire jutsu couldn't do shit against the ice element.

yeah me too I dont really like the new scheme of elemental chakra of advantages and weakness i think it would not have been so childlike if he would had used his first explanations like wind being more powerfull in offense and stuff like that something like kakuzus doton that hardens his skin it would make earth a defensive chakra, it would have been cool to see the elements apport different advantages in battle

Even if weak against you have to remember that its not necessarily a one sided battle - a powerful enough jutsu can probably hold its own even if against its weakness, just as a strong enough wind can blow fire out

it isn't like if the fire can't do a thing against ice, it's just that the level of the fire jutsu was weaker than the level of the ice jutsu,

Bloodline elements evolved to not have weakness.

But probally on the tradeoff for not have an advantage either..
In the end would be like a no-elemental chakra.

Even if does have a advantage/weakness
You can aways use a no-elemental jutsu to counter it.

Btw you don't aways need to counter, you can dodge it also, or block like orochimaru did.
