Thread: Sasuke's Forbidden Jutsu

In Chapter 309, Page 13, we see Sasuke attempting hand seals for a jutsu, only to be stopped by orochimaru on page fourteen. Looking at the frames of page 13, there are some hints as to what kind of jutsu this could be:



Bottom Right: Sasuke is holding his hands in a Tiger Seal. According to the early chapters of Naruto, Tiger Seals are used in Fire based techniques, which is why it can often be seen in Sasuke's Katon jutsus. This would go with the idea of Sasuke defeating Naruto's new wind jutsu with it's elemental weakness.

Left: Sasuke is holding his hand up in the air, as if preparing to generate something in his hand. It is from this position that orochimaru grabs his wrist in the next page. This seems to imply that it would be a technique that is held in the hand, similar to the Chidori, the only difference being that this is held in an upward position, rather than a downward one.

Any thoughts (hopefully serious ones) on this are welcome.

About the possible technique. Sasuke threatened to kill them all, so I don't think it is like Chidori, since Chidori attacks only one enemy, and I don't think that doing a technique like Chidori Nagashi (but with fire) would be a good idea.

I don't know if you've played Mortal Kombat, but there's a player in there named Scorpion, but I think that doesn't matter. The thing is that he had this technique in which he had flames emerging from to the floor to burn his enemy. If this was indeed a fire technique, that's the picture that comes into my mind.

I agree, it's going to be a huge "Charge Fireball" that expands to a wide area, but the drawback is that he'll be out of chakra. Then his cursed seal will kick in and that's what you call combos.

Cursed seal is used to drain chakra in one go so its like adding more horsepowers and cylinders to engine but you have the same amount of gasoline. Even though your car is more powerfull and faster it runs out of gasoline faster ^^.

I think that it doesnt matter what jutsu it will be kishi will make it something uber powerful so his sasuke can be #1 in naru<->sasu battle ...
Its probably fire anyway so its fire>wind>lightning (it was said in other topics)

Maybe he was going to summon one of those snakes? Any idea what hand seals are needed for it?

whatever it is that jutsu probably is a forbbiden one and has a similar radius to narutos wind rasengan since they got similar jutsus before chidori/rasengan but know sasukes chidori has changed to chidori current and has other uses so kishi probably gave sasuke a justsu to compete with the new rasengan

In the first bell test, when Kakashi was about to perform Sennin Goroshi (ass poke), he made a tiger seal, Sasuke seeing this then says "ZOMG, he is going to do a Katon". If Naruto had said this I wouldn't pay attention, but Sasuke had been doing/seeing fire jutsu for a long time before this event. The seal which determines the element is the last seal, which is also how Kakashi knew that Kakuzu's jutsu was earth type.

^After the time skip, it is assumed that all the characters have developed jutsu (except Kurenai, who is useless). While Naruto has two new jutsu, possibly 3 (the supersecret one), Sasuke has been training with hardcore shinobi who have taught him at least one a month. Sasuke has sharingan, he learns jutsu simply by looking at people, & since he is the number one rookie, he learns the dynamics in no-time.

You can read in here that they define the Tiger Seal by Name, and that Sasuke notes it as being used in Fire Based jutsu.
