High School of the Dead is just gay, the main character didnt want to bone the chick even though she was hot and horny from him in the one ep with the boobs flashing around and the girls all got drunk (which means they wanted to get boned) but there were really no MEN (no one had the balls to give the ladies what they wanted)in that house so they pretty much were left unsatisfied.

That one episode (I only saw that one) was pretty much the last straw thats turned me off of all anime except for one piece and sometimes Naruto, most of it is self hating, mangina bullshit, no real man would ever turn down pussy, be such a pussy, be controlled, beat down, or take all the shit from the women that the main characters do (hell even one piece does this but its actually funny because the guys on that show aren't pussies but Truly Bad ass and Luffy is. . .Luffy and sometimes needs to get hit on the head once an episode...so I can let that slide)

but pretty much 99.9 percent of the anime shows every season are the SAME, hardly any shows that are good that have main lead characters that aren't afraid, to fuck, fight, and not take shit from anyone (especially from women) and dont obsess over liking one bitch(Im looking at you Naruto. . .you could be pimping all the hotties in Konoha but you are focusing on Sasuk. . .Sakura who a useless bitch) I have pretty much given up on anime in general and nowadays if the word is out that a series is REALLY good (book of bantorra, fma) then ill just wait till the series is done and see what the reviews really are.

the mangas you speak of are shounen mangas. You expect shounen mangas to be cliched and for their main character to be cowards(on some levels).
You are right about High School of the Dead though. Why would you make such an ecchi manga with a main character like that? not only that, the girl that he is chasing, chose another dude over him....
Animes in general have fallen off. i dont know if it is because i have gotten older but i think animes in general have gotten worse every season.

Animes have been getting worse lately because all the good stories have been taken already save for a select few. once the good ones are out, all that is left are the rejects and the hentai book games... which oddly enough is how fate/stay night came around onto the tube. right now you could compare anime series to the shows on fox, or abc, or whatever you want to call them. many suck, but there are a few that just keep on going and going because they either have a massive fanbase, or they are just that good... or both.
