Thread: How do you think this series'll end?

Hm... Itachi kills Orochimaru, we discover a secret truth behind the murder of the Uchiha clan, so Sasuke never battles his brother.
Instead, for some reason, the final fight's Sasuke vs. Naruto, where they both die in an obviously very emotional and flashbacky way.


...now that I think about it, that is not going to happen. Whatever.

Wow, some of those ideas are so out there it's not even funny (even if you meant them to be)...

I don't think I'll make a prediction myself because everyone's mind works differently, and I'm sure that goes for Kishimoto's and my own... I do, however believe (even if it's cliche) that Naruto WILL become Hokage, pretty much everything he does is working for that... if there is any indication that he'll die before he becomes Hokage it would be Tsunade saying so since she apparently has terrible luck (then again, him becoming Hokage could be the end of her bad luck sort of thing...)

Sasuke kills Itachi, Akatsuki leader kills orochimaru, then kills everyone. Then Gamabunta steps on Naruto and Hinata uses Baika no jutsu to eat chouji.

Theres just so many baddies its hard to place when they all die. But I think Sasuke will deifinately die by the end. as a hero

He is on the good guy team. Villains are those people who want power just for the sake of having power. Sasuke has noble, albeit misguided, reasons for seeking power.

Sasuke and orochimaru get aids and die (you know why) naruto try to get some with sakura but also get aids you know why (she does like sasuke :P ) and he dies. Naruto and sasuke are dead so the new series begin.

So anyway, what's wrong with the first post is that half of those people are going to die, and if the series is going to go on for a while, then Akatsuki is not the ultimate enemy. In that time, countless more characters will be introduced... pasts will come back to haunt main characters. There's a lot to look forward too still.

Not really. Sasuke betrayed his village so he can aquire power so that he can get his revenge on Itachi.

^Totally agree, his efforts are misguided. It's not revenge for himself, but for his clan he is seeking. If Itachi had never killed the clan, he would be exactly like Kakashi & Tobi were in Kakashi Gaiden (Full of self-confidence, & determined to prove he is an elite Uchiha like Itachi). The earlier Sasuke was a much happier kid, not the morbid gloomy type he is now. He betrayed his village only when he felt he had no other option. When Kankuro arrived and picked on Konohamaru and Naruto, Sasuke came out, even when he didn't have to. People who are lured into cults need to be supported, not ostracized and ridiculed.

*But that scenario never played out, I was just trying to point out the underlying issues in his personality and actions.

The final enemy hopefully is someone they will be able to fight together, but cannot defeat individually. Sasuke will produce a secret-level Katon, with Naruto enhancing it with his own secret-level kaze jutsu.

Oh, that would be cool. And then everything would end happily ever after. (If I were writing, I'd kill off Sakura for even more drama between the two, especially if it's Sasuke's fault-- then Naruto'd have every right to kill him.)
