Thread: Chapter 333

*sigh* Why is everyone assuming that Naruto can't beat Sasuke just from their recent fight? You gotta put quite a few things into perspective first:

1. Naruto was OBVIOUSLY holding back. He didn't attack ONCE the entire time because he still believed that Sasuke was his friend despite the betrayal ("Then why didn't you kill me?!". He says it as if that's his proof that Sasuke was still attached to him).
2. The fight seemed to me to be more of a show of just how far Sasuke has grown. Before that, we saw Naruto's three year upgrade with his fights with Deidara and clone-Itachi. Then we saw Sakura's advance with her fight with Sasori. I think people would have been more pissed off if Sasuke left after getting his a$$ beat.
3. Naruto also seemed to be focused more on controlling the Kyuubi than winning a fight against Sasuke. You gotta remember, HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY INTENTION TO KILL SASUKE! Whereas Sasuke was focused on just the opposite. And we all know that, in the Naruto world, fighting with intention to kill can mean the difference between a win and a loss.
4. Finally, you gotta remember that this is a manga showing the progress one boy makes despite being an orphan, outcast, and container of a demon. I would prefer to see the whole "hero is weaker than enemy, trains to get stronger, and wins on his own terms" type of plot any day. It gives a real world moral to a fictional story.

I think Naruto would have a genuine chance against Sasuke if his emotions didn't get in the way. And what's more, he's actually trying to rely on his own powers rather than the uberness that is Kyuubi. I mean imagine Naruto, Kyuubi-fied to the sixth or seventh tail fighting Sasuke. I doubt that even Sasuke could even surpress it if it got that far. Naruto is still my second favorite character because of the wicked attitude he portrays (My first being Itachi with Sasuke as a close third).

Also, it is ridiculous how many people....... b!tch about Kishimoto's decisions with HIS manga. He has managed to enthrall and captivate readers up to this point and I think many of the die hard Naruto fans are still just as attached. So, uh, yeah. That was the end of my little rant. Please feel free to comment.

ur right i guess. but kishi does make naruto very inferior to Sasuktard... like wat naruto spends 2.5 years training with a sannin and results? better basic 101 combat technqiues and control of the kyuubi? at least kishi should of made naruto have better speed or better jutsu? no its just the 'do not use jutsu' and we dont even know how effective it will be

It's probably pretty damn effective if a guy who can summon massive frogs who can devestate forests tells him not to use it.

Absolutely marvelous, haha. Finally we can see Kakashi sensei performing on the stage. But sounds a bit like pokemon, that thunder is stronger than earth. lol.
Anyway, I wonder what would happen if Kakashi isn't there. What would Shikamaru use to eliminate Kakuzu? But I also wonder if Kakuzu would die so easily.

Sasuke wasn't that far ahead when they met last time. Maybe he is now, that Naruto decided he wont use Kyuubi anymore, but still.

At the time Naruto had just fought against Orochimaru and got wounded by the Kyuubi chakra to the point that he was covered in his own blood.
That's quite a strain, even for kyuubihealing Naruto.

There was nothing he could do. He was tired to the point he had to sit down and rest! In the middle of Oro's lair!

Then there's the fact that he can't fight Sasuke for real. Not with the intend he'd need to win against a strong enemy.

But imagine this.

Sasuke charges at Naruto to kill him, but hits Sakura because she is doing he standing-in-the-middle-to-stop-them thingy.
That would be the reason for Naruto to be serious.
He'd grew 4 tails in an instant.

And that'd be it for Sasuke. If Oro couldn't do anything apart from running away, why should Sasuke.
He could try to use his little Chidori sword, but if Oro's original Kusanagi can't do the trick, neither can Sasuke's.

One mouth Rasengan or whatever it was and the fight would be over and Sasuke would lie there beaten to a bloody pulp.


And stop insulting Kishi (or Oda for that matter) for things you don't like and/or understand.
Just stop reading the manga, keep it to yourself and leave this place.
And give us, who enjoy this and other manga, a rest

If naruto can learn earth though (unimmaginable) could win against sasuke but,thats a long way to come...

So has every one forgotten about gambunta?

Naruto could use that against sasuke-kun?

since this is the spoilers thread, just to be out of topic, is tht really kakashi? or am i just having to much hunch tht its naruto.

my hunch would be probably its kakashi. i doubt its naruto because he wouldnt have the time to master lightning element in the time limit he has.

you never know, he did learn the kage bunshin in a few hours.....his ability to evolve surpases everyone elses. But since hes pretty much the exact opposite of sasuke I'd say that the chances were slim, maybe his second element will be earth or water.

edit: I take that back for all we know he may go all super saiyan and be able to use all elements x_x.,...at this point if he won't use the kyuubis power he needs something of equal value, being able to do that would count. And was it just me but didn't the 3rd use 3 different elements in his fight against orochimaru? Water, fire, and earth...fun....Naruto being able to use 3 elements would be interesting.
