Thread: How Can Naruto's New Jutsu Defeat Sasuke? Speed Over Strength

I don't get it. How can Naruto's new jutsu beat Sasuke? The thing Kakashi should have been teaching Naruto is how to improve his speed. Let's face it, no matter how freak'n powerful and insane looking Naruto's jutsu may be, Naruto will still be a lot slower than Sasuke and will need to "catch" Sasuke at the right moment so Naruto can hit him with his jutsu! DATTEBAYO!

Kakashi spend so much time helping Naruto develope a jutsu when he should have teach him to boost his speed by tapping into Naruto's huge chakra reservoir.

This isn't a "let's face it, it's an anime" kind of thing. If Kishimoto spend the time to fabricate the whole "element chakra type" thing, the idea for Naruto to improve speed rather than power should have been a obvious consideration.

I'm guessing that it's going to be an area of effect jutsu, Sasuke seemed to be pretty confident that his jutsu was going to kill Yamato, Sai, Sakura, and Naruto at the same time, their skills always pretty much balanced out before.

Either that or it has homing capabilities or something that'll make up for the lack of speed on Naruto's part, and kage bunshin can make up for the lack of speed a bit.

I don't think Kishimoto will make him do something that is useless.

Gonna say it again. My wish for an application of Naruto's new jutsu:

However he creates the rasengan, it's actually one clone that holds it and uses it. He shoves it into the ground. Boom. Wind pushes out in every direction (sharp and blade-like), in a dome-ish area. Speed doesn't entirely matter. Get too close, and get diced.

I'm sure Naruto will be able to catch Sasuke with his clones.

naruto can shoot the rasengan right into his own butt causing him to jet forward like a rocket in order to catch sasuke

It's his series.So he will beat that whinning emo.

well i never seen the lack of speed on narutos part. in the battle between him an sasuke he was extremely fast that at on point sasuke could not keep up. naruto has speed, him and sasuke are equals some may disagree due to the most resent meeting between the two but one must understand that naruto was not serious in that encounter but some byes people wont want to acknowledge that and will rather hang on sasuke's !@#!s.

I'm sort of hoping for that too, though I don't see it happening, he's never tried something much simpler; setting explosive tags on the clones and using them as suicide bombers.

I don't think the jutsu will be made to specifically do that (if Naruto will use that idea at all), he doesn't seem to think that way, unlike the "evil" characters, like Deidara and Itachi, who had both used suicide clones in the past.

Nah, martyr and I are just both online here and chatting elsewhere. I was the only one editing, he can't do that in this section. He was helping me come up with a suitable shade of pink. We had to do it from memory.

That would be cool. I'd like to see anyone dodge that. He would still have to be careful with the timing, though.

No I'm pretty sure it didn't, but it said you and martyr were replying to this thread right before the edits.

I did see you make a post in an invisible thread that showed up as a post, but didn't show up in the "View all posts" function.



An alternate idea besides area of effect, inherent tracking effect in the jutsu, Naruto actually being fast enough, the clones acting as compensation, or the suicide clone would be Hiraishin.

Probably not going to happen but I’m still hoping for Naruto’s “that jutsu” to be the incomplete Hiraishin instead of just the 4-tailed mode.
