with all we've been reading bout how a jitsu works what is the point of hand seals?

I always thought hand seals where meant to mold chakra to perform a jutsu...

Hand signals are used to mold your chakra to activate CERTAIN jutsus.

Its like chanting with your hands before performing a magic spell. >_>

i still dunt get y sasuke's chidori needs seal and naruto's nature+rasengan doesnt

Naruto's is a bit more simplistic that Sasuke's. Bad sentence.

Anyway, Chidori hardens the skin and focuses an Element; but, Rasengan just brings out chakra into the palm.

well as we saw elemental chakra doesnt require hand seals so still what is up with hand seals?

Think of it this way, if you want to "pour" wind chakra into a blade, you would simply concentrate and release the chakra. However, if you want to turn the chakra in your body into something like a clone, then you would need to release chakra as well as mold that chakra into the form you want with hand seals.

How and why seals work is beyond my knowledge.
