Thread: Akatsukiville. Possible Spoilers?

Okay. In this most recent chapter of Naruto, we've pretty much been let in on Akatsuki's plan. You know... the big, take over the world theory. You know how it works; you've all seen at least one James Bond movie, right?

But HERE's my question. So far, we've seen in two chapters glimpses of a very interesting place. The land where Akatsuki leader likes to chill; the city of the giant statue holding its hand out and a bunch of big tall buildings.

So WHERE do you think this is? Some kind of Akatsuki training camp, perhaps? The headquarters AL has been building for his 'ultimate warbringer group' to operate out of? And even then; WHERE IS IT!? Where would an S-rank criminal be able to reside without being caught? It's not like he's hiding, he's sitting on a giant statue. So what is this place? Even if it's his own little city... where would an S-rank criminal be able to build up his own little city without being noticed?

There's your questions. Discuss away, hmm?

The world of Naruto is very big. He could be anywhere really. The thing that interests me most is the fact that there hasn't really been any places shown so far that have looked as modern as where Akatsuki Leader was.

Wait...there's no arguement here...it's just a discussion on where we think Akatsuki Leader is located...

After thinking about it, even though he was pretty high up...I didn't notice any other people in that 'city'; leading me to believe it's deserted...

At any rate we'll just have to wait and see as more is revealed.

He lives in Los Angeles, or Vegas. Either way, he's out ordering some hookers at the moment.

Future Konoha, other side of the ocean (from the second movie), whatever. It doesn't really matter yet, I just want to see the AL's face or have someone color pg 16-17.

Hahahah. So AL's the fourth and his little town is an alternate reality of Konoha, right?

What conejo says brings up an interesting point. It looks pretty damn modern, like a metropolis of some kind. Which leads me to think it's somewhere pretty important. Maybe even one of the other shinobi villages?

Personally, i think the AL is from Konoha. notice how he speak of Konoha's will of fire and how the current generation glorifies the previous generation. How would he know that if he is not from Konoha? i think he is from konoha and following Shounen rules i say he is related to naruto(it doesn't have to be the fourth!).

I was just saying that today to a friend of mine. I said "Wouldn't it be a real kick in the balls if we find out Yondaime was not Narutos dad and it turns out Akatsuki Leader is actually Narutos dad?"

Still...Akatsuki Leaders hair is ginger...not blonde...all signs seem to be pointing towards Yondaime but it's possible Kishimoto just did this to make us think Yondaime was the father...Damn...where's Maury when you need him??
