Sai's Ability

After hearing someone mention that we don't know anything about Sai (so untrue), I thought we should discuss his capabilities.

Well, he caught Yamato. He doesn't rush into a fight. Doesn't seem like he has any emotions - though he isn't as dead as Shino. On that last note, he seems to be one of the few characters that doesn't have to take a power downgrade to radiate his offense and defense in very direction (like Naruto's throw away clones). He seems well trained. He isn't afraid of simple threats like how Sakura, Shino, Kakashi, Yamato and others have all scared Naruto (manga only here, too).

Some weaknesses. At full strength, he can't see Sasuke at top speed. We haven't seen Sai take a hit (Sakura doesn't count; gennins have always taken rock crushing blows). He talks too much. He doesn't know not to look at genjutsu artists.

I'm sure I'm missing other points about his weaknesses. The list for bad points isn't long but they are important against some opponents.

we actually haven't seen much of him in the latest chapters. i guess all we know is that he draws things and it comes to life. other than that we don't know if he has other abilities.

I like the fact that his attacks are based on his drawings, very unique. his drawings reminds me of that game Okami or something :3.

I think when he was looking at Sasuke he did see him at top speed...he just didn't give any indication of it, and he might have looked at Sasuke on purpose (When Sasuke used his genjutsu) to test his strength.I think that he's actually better than Yamato because of his ability of judgement (Yamato seems hasty and emotional without thinking of the best solution).

His drawing ability is useful but it seems like he doesn't really have any powerful attacking jutsu since they can all be defeated by normal attacks.

He wears a gay shirt, and talks way too much (about Naruto's penis?). His art is based on his brother's memory. He went through almost the same training as Zabuza's "kill all others."

Ninja's are suppose to be spotted. Sai really takes this to heart. Who care's about what Sai looks like; you'll see him only if you see your body with its head cut off right next to him. Big deal. If anything, it's probably not easy to draw Sai's uniform.
