Itachi and Naruto

I have a lil theory about Itachi......dont kno if this has been said before......but its that Itachi wont realli catch naruto for Akatsuki but have some other goal.......I mean he wants Sasuke to become stronger and gain the Mangekyou Sharingan......and im sure he knows sasuke and naruto are best friends......plus Itachi looks like the type to put his own goals over others......so thats what i got........agreements?.....disagreements?

itachi gives sasuke the kyuubi
sasuke instantly wields it perfectly
sasuke gains MS instantly with that
itachi creates the perfect being to test his capacitor

I do agree that Itachi probably has some other plan outside Akatsuki. He doesn't seem like the 100% loyal type to me.

Not sure what he alone could do with the Kyuubi if he were able to extract it himself, other than try and seal it inside his own body. Unfortunately we don't know for sure why he wants power, why Akatsuki wants power, or why he wants Sasuke to become as strong as he is.

Why would e know they're best friends? I mena they dont act like it, also you might say that akatsuki could easily gain that information but why? Why would they ever bother finding it out?

Hmm well, it could be that itachi found out for the sole perpose of your theory, but I doubt it highly, since I dont think itachi would be trying to catch naruto at all if it wasnt akatsuki since he would be forcing sasuke to kill his friend basically.

zetsu was present when sasuke and naruto fought at the fire country border.
he could have overheard everything and told itachi that naruto was sasuke's best friend...........doesn't mean i completely agree with this theory........itachi's a mystery to me.

itachi.. he probably wanted sasuke to kill naruto so that sasuke will be even to have mangekyou sharingan. anyway yasha's theory explicitly explain the relationship b/w kyuubi and uchiha clan.

Though your theory does have it's merit
I can't really see Itatchi doing that for Sasuke

I think he'd rather a shot at the Akatsuki leader >.>
