Thread: Naruto Age Question

How old is Naruto? I'm pretty sure he's it says he's 12 at the begining of the series, and if he is then how old is the rest of his team? Because it said that Naruto failed the academy final 3 times, so wouldn't that make him 3 years older then everyone else in his class? Or did they take the exam too and just fail as well? (which I seriously doubt). And if they did why does Narutos failing even matter. Or did they let Naruto take the exam earlier than everyone else?

Well hes around 15 in the manga currently, and so everyone else that was in teh class with him. Lee, Tenten, and Neji are a year older since they waited a year before they took the chuunin exam. Though I cant find a way to explain the failing three times thing.

Maybe they mean he has failed different finals before? Not the graduation final but other finals or tests they took throughout the time they were in school.

and i think there was one before that.....remember itachi graduated after a year? you can prob. take the test every year...no plot hole

isn't he 14,5 years old he was 12 when he graduated and we made a 2,5 year jump.

the failing three times thing mean he took it 3 times, but the other people are prolly close to his age and just didnt take the test
