just pic up a mice and yell here i'm going to use my secretly once a day all chakra draining uber mega certain kill easy to dodge juutsu need 15 minutes prepair time while completely defensive juutsu

genjutsus probably the most useful of them all, its jus underplayed

ill admit most jutsus are there pretty much purely cause they look good, but i dont think katon one you listed is one of them, flame throwers have shown to be excelent killing weapons lol, and yea kakashi dodged it, but it made orochimaru scream out in pain (something only tsunades and sarutobi done so far)

Well, with the shinobi's curruntly clothing, genjutsu can be pretty deadly. But if you have cloths that cause you to be stabbed each limb movement, if you are constantly moving, your momemtum is eoungh to dispell all genjutsu.

Though question on genjutsu: why doesn't someone just use it so that others get a feeling of dread, without changing reality around them. Opponent would have no reason to suspect the trap, and the feeling of dread would make them useless.

I listed katon, gokakyou no jutsu. That is where is shoot one gigantic ball of flame at your opponent. Now yes, flame throwers are useless, but you aren't using flame throwers on people a few meters away, that can move faster than the flames, or are able to just move behind you by the time the flame reaches where they were. Sarutobi's technique of many flameballs is useful, I admit, since it can cover a wider area. Plus, might have weapons in it

Seriously, who would wear that? Unless you're a serious masochist, that can't be very pleasant.

not only that but if youre stabing yourself jus as we fight

and that fireball is pretty fast
its jus sasuke thats not fast at doing it
and kakashi thats insanely fast too

against someone sasukes level it would work pretty well

yea all jutsu's have their place, none of them are useless, even chidori is so flashy, but it can cut ANYTHING. Whereas there are thing sthat tsunade probably can't even break. Chidori is an assasination technique to get through tough defense and ignore the long ninja fight.
But yea thats just an example, and whats so bad about goukakyu if you have one arm holding the opponent? Or if he's right in front of you, or immobilized. So far its the only fire jutsu that can be used with out a string or a shurkien to burn it on,well other than phoenix fire but thats not very damaging.
your last technique is pretty much kimmimaro's bullets but i'd say that it has to be a lot faster than 100km to stop even gaara's sand, you couldn't even see lee before the sand could still just keep up. SO even FASTER than that.
AS for water techniques they are clearly suited for water ninja, as in setting traps like the water prison, or setting up somthing liek hakus mirrors, or hiding in it like the demon brothers, etc etc etc . You just usan an example that suits you:P wheras there are often lots of used for every jutsu.

yes there are various justus that may or are usless however.
1. Its all about the usage of the justu. If you think about it, the way you use any weapon is how beneficial it can be. Same thing with all the games u play....(eg. starcraft........all the races are damn good if u know how to use each one) it just depends on the "skill of the user"

you're obviously not going to use chidori if you plan on conserving energy...
although sasuke fans might not like it but the chidori's appearance quality certaintly doesnt match up to its usage quality.

u must be thinking well not everyone has the requirements for tsunade's punch... well thats correct but not everyone has the requirments for chidori either. Basically wat im trying to say is that the validity/usefullness of the jutsu is based on the user's skill and the way its used.

its like playing cards (texas holdem) you dont fold when you have a royal flush. its all about playing the right cards at the right time. Therefore applying that to jutsus and ninjas we can see that MANY PEOPLE WILL PERCIEVE some jutsus as usless but it really depends on how they are used.

sadly as i contradict my self over and over again i have to agree that some of the moves are really getting flashy. well after all this is manga so u have to give it some slack.

u can almost gaurantee that during the game one of the team members always say: no you're wrong "name"(for this example ill use horio) this is where the real match begins.

uhh dude zet do u know ur speed? ur telling me that they can see a rock going 100 km/s?
and ur telling me that rocklee moves faster than that? alrite rock lee moves pretty fast but not that fast alrite. if he moved that fast then that would be completely G a y.
main point: 100 km/s is faster than you think it is
rocklee does not move faster than 100 km/s
for heaven's sake moving a human moving faster 100 km/s could be the best taijutsu move in itself.

WAT IS UP WITH THE NINJAS SCREAMING BEFORE THEY ASSASSINATE SOMEONE

i mean like u see these ninjas running stealthily they jump over ten foot buildings, dodge spotlights, avoid guards, all the stealth crap u can imagine.......and when they finally reach their destination (the person they have to kill) they move swiftly and at the last second they scream while running while pulling ou that kunai and of course that gives the target enough time to react and say: HA you are to slow for me you inferior ninja

Its not that fast, a kilometer is alittle bit shorter than a mile(or a little bit longer either way they're roughtly the same) and most cars can go over 100 miles an hour, also where did you get 100 km/s from? Also to move so fast you cant see them is pretty damn fast, to move like 60 ft in under a second is insane, and to move so fast you can hit someone back and fourth in mid air is damn fast.
