Thread: Naruto's chakra = ...

Kakashi mentioned that higher level ninja have access to more than one type of nature chakra. If Naruto's original type is wind, what would be his other nature type? I get a fire impression personally...

Also, who are those people on the coloured cover of 238 with Naruto?

It's gonna be something opposite of Sasuke perhaps. I'm guessing Earth.

Those guys are gonna be the villains in the new movie I think. Notice he dresses differently, not quite Naruto 2 outfit, but a variation on Naruto 1.

the left one is probably the protagonist and the right one probably the antagonist

and as for a second element, i dont its going to be inputted for naruto
i really dont want to see another 5 chapters of naruto learning a second element

But if you think about it, all the ninja he is going to be fighting at this level have an additional chakra element (maybe even more). So learning to combine different kinds of chakra isn't just going to help, it's going to be a necessity barring fighting at a complete disadvantage.

He's still a novice when it comes to higher level skills and this is just the basics of his natural chakra type. He needs more to be competitive.

haku a rather low level ninja by comparison was able to use it early because of a blood line

it takes alot of training to combine
and its not something anyone can do since combining probably takes twice the amount of chakra

I get the fire impression, but I'd rather it was water because then it would amount to ice = awesome.

you need a bloodline to combine elements into a jutsu.
It is possible for regular ninja to learn more then one type of element manipulation but only someone with a bloodline can combine elements. Kakashi flat out says that the ability to combine elements is called a bloodline limit.
