Thread: Naruto's relation to Kyubi and Jinchuriki in general.

This is mainly here for one question: Does Naruto rely on the Kyubi too much? I know the general opinion is that he, in fact, does. But I just wanted to poll the forum and also hear(read) some other opinions. And while we were at it, I also thought that we should talk(type, whatever) about other Jinchuriki's, though it will probably just be Gaara, as information is lacking on the others.
I should also mention that I searched the forum for related threads, and the search turned up no matching results, so I don't think this thread is redundant.
I, myself, will weigh in later, mainly because I want to double-check certain areas of manga I intend to reference to.
Also, while I know I can't force any of you, try to keep the posts sane, or at least relevant. Even if someone else's opinion makes your brain, nay, your very SOUL, bleed with frustration, exercise restraint. Or at least try.

well.. he was relying on the kyuubi a little too much.. but now.. they're practicing naruto to rely on his own cakra .. the wind element.. thats from what i read.. so..yeah and no..

at that time(before the break-in part 1) he used it a lot,because he had to fight strong opponenets.now it turns out the kyuubi is slowly weakening him,so he shud stop.but there have been many situations where he has been dragged into using the kyuubis power.(vs sasuke,and vs oro,vs deidara as well)

I think that he should eventually rely on the Kyuubi less, because then he won't have any power without the Kyuubi. If he ever does lose the Kyuubi to the Akatsuki or something he won't know what to do in a serious situation where he has to fight for his life.

Naruto has learned to use part of Kyuubi at his own will, that should be enough if he can not control his actions anymore. And he's not using Kyuubi for fun, some of his opponents were too strong so he had to rely on Kyuubi.
Now he concentrates on his own chakra and develops some crazy jutsu, I hope that means he won't use Kyuubi for a long time now.

I guessing hes starting to stop relying on the kyubii chakra since naruto told kyubii he didnt need him when he was fighting sasuke

IMO he shld use the kyuubi more often.

he will only use it when he sees fit. if sakura was in toruble...BAM kyuubi time

Naruto & Kyuubi are just good friends. Its only logical that pals help eachother once in a while
