I wonder if Naruto will really have that kind of control and power though? He's more of a rushing in and breaking them guy than someone that stands back and starts making tornadoes or doing something sneaky.

I am pretty sure that electrons transfer from atom to atom of whatever might be in the air such as oxygen and gases, creating lightning. But if Naruto can really control the air then he could shift the air in whatever direction he wants, and throw the electricity in another direction or maybe even back at Sasuke.

i'm not spectacular with sciences, so bear with me =_=

lightning is created when the separation of charge in a cloud becomes large enough for the negative charges to leap from the cloud to the positive charges of another cloud (sheet lightning) or to the positive charges on the ground.

wind is created by the warming of the earth; the air above it absorbs different amounts of heat. warm air rises, and cool air sinks, creating something like an "environment" for wind (i.e. the movement of air.)

what i gather from this is that wind is more on a "physical" level while lightning is way more on a "chemical" (/ molecular?) level. ... so it's highly unlikely that naruto's wind would be able to affect lightning. (of course, your idea really isn't at all off base -- the application of any practical science into the naruto world is pretty much nix ... kage bunshin, for example, destroys the law of energy conservation )

as said before though, fire vs. wind is a totally different thing..

??? The positive charges from the clouds don't just leap through no where, they transfer themselves through air to the ground. The air becomes "negative" and creates lightning...I think

But it's an anime and anything can happen...nothing has to make sense. I mean in real life I hope nobody has a fox demon inside of them and a seal on their stomach. It would look so weird to go swimming.

chapter 316 is gonna be good I bet. We'll get more specifics on the training and category of jutsu Naruto will create.

I would also think Naruto tweaks and improves his current jutsu while formulating his own, unique one. Like launching the Rasengan. Or maybe launching a clone who has a Rasengan. OR maybe launching a clone who has a Rasengan who then launches the Rasengan if the opponent dodges.

I just wanted to say that PURE water is a horrible conductor for electricity.
Just because you have power that doesn't mean you know how to use it.

What if you had to take a crap while you were out on the field and there were no bushes? Would your wind save you then? Huh? Huh?

    Earth element for the win~!
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.
