Thread: 1st and 2nd Hokage ... what happened between them?

i was watching naruto the anime and when they got to the part where sasuke and naruto have their last fight on the border of konoha i suddenly realized i hadnt read the manga close enough and it was infact the 1st and 2nd hokage that fought there not jiraiya and orochimaru ... anyways apart from my sudden realization of stupidity what did happen betweent he first 2 Hokages ... did they split up ... i dunno ... because theres a high likely hood i missed something ...

i rmbed kakashi sayin it thou.. dat it was the 1st n 2nd 2.. but im not quite sure.. he was sayin ur lives (referring to naruto n sasuke) were quite similar..

nah, Kakashi was talking about Jiraiya and Orochimaru. That is the place they fought when Jiraiya was trying to do the same that Naruto was. The river was result of that fight. I wonder who won.

obviously jiraiya or he wouldn'y be here/there teaching naruto anything due to absence of spirit and body....

Hmm.. If youre talking about the statue, the right one is Shodaime i guess.
And maybe the other one is the first Kazekage.

They're the statues of the 1st and 2nd. And kakashi is talking about their fight. Oro and Jiraiya also fight at the same spot but there's no way their fight can create a river. The 2nd is a water jutsu user so it explain the river being created. I don't know about the reason though. it didn't necessarily a split up or quarrels i think. Maybe they just training or trying their new moves or just get bored.

This statue is refer to the event before konoha was found, the fight between 1st hokage and another unknown character.......... maybe the idea of shinobi that they hold is same with naruto and sasuke
