Thread: What About Soundgarden?

how can you people listen to jpop and jrock? doesn't it hurt your head? you probably have no clue as to what there saying.

so this has nothing to do with soundgarden the band. you jack ass.

and listening to music isnt all about lyrics. its about composition jack ass. the way the song flows how its put together what the music itself makes you feel. as a musician i feel thats way more important than anything anyone could say.

If you had any bit of musical appreciation would understand that music trancends all languages

true........you listen to MUSIC not LYRICS.....so it doesn't matter if you can't understand the words......is english your first language?? well...actually what i'm gonna say doesnt really matters.....ever heard rock songs when you're a kid?? can you honestly tell us that you understand and hear every single word that they said???....well..english is not my first language so i have to say i don't and even though i learn english, i still can understand what they're saying at all untill i'm in my highschool with more knowledge and everything....

and where's the soundgarden discussion??!!!??

Indeed music does transend spoken language which is clearly represented in opera. However, my personal views on JPop are well documented.
As to Soundgarden, let us begin the discussion. As an early band they were pretty awesome; however their truly great moments begin to shine through toward the end of their lifecycle when they got away from the kind of 80's rock sound and began to emulate a sound more like Pearl Jam and the grunge scene.

Soundgarden is awesome, and what's great is you can still hear Soundgarden song's live, although i'm more interested in hearing Chris Cornel doing Rage song's, people have told me it's good, but i don't see how that can be possible. Oh yeah Burden in my Hand. great song.

Yeah, Soundgarden is a great. Though listening to their songs always makes me feel like the suns beating down on me. Makes me hot. But I think Tom Morello's guitar solos are really cool so it's ok.

first impressions of this thread were alright. A Soundgarden discussion. Then I open it and this guy or whatever is complaining about jpop and jrock. Boo! Go listen to it for real. and stop complaining about things you don't understand. By that I mean music.
