i'm a guitarist too.
guitar: Ibanez S540 (not produce anymore i think)
i recently change my pickup with:
Dimarzio EJ custom neck, and dimarzio Steve's special, i really2 like the sound of it....
amp: nothing special just some 30W laney
FX: metal zone, chorus, and Tech 21 Sansamp Tri AC copy which surprisingly sounds much better and have lots more options than Sansamp.
i play mainly joe satriani, used to play lots of metallica, pantera and all the metal bands, learning blues right now.
i also play classical (better than my electric), my guitar is a jap made Morris, really old, 1980's.
Heroes: Joe satriani, jimmy page, steve morse, pat metheny (no-one beat this guy!!!), john scofield, joe pass, ulf wakenius....too many i guess...

i'm trying to get back to fast picking....any help??

Guitar's the only way to go dudes....

bassist..(sometime guitarist)
play black/death metal, thrash metal and some progressive metal..

i play the piano
so it's most of the time jazz or classic music

i play the guitar too
because i really suck with this instrument, i play only what looks for you guys like sh** ^^ (jazz and basic rock)

come on....jazz is not shit man!! it's the most difficult genre......i respect people who can play jazz....good jazz though.....not like jamiroquai, brand new heavies,etc....these days, just because the song contains Major 7 chords people labelled them as "jazz" and themselves as "jazz player"...ridiculous if you ask me...it's like saying...if it has distortion than it must be rock.....

I play Alto Saxophone and piano.

I can't say that I play guitar because I suck at it.

I also dabble in the harmonica sometimes..

On the sax I normally play jazz or some classical stuff transposed for sax.
On the piano, I play videogame music. Period.

I play trumpet for my Jazz band. I used to play flute befor I started playing on the trumpet.
