Thread: Sad and emotional musics

I am looking for a song, music, ect. which is very sad and emotional. Any suggestions? I am planning to do a school play. I am looking for a bgm for a dramatic death scene. I have Sadness and sorrow from Naruto right now which I think is quite touching. Any more musics which you think can really put the sad feeling in people who are watching a play?

Currently, I have (Musics which I think are sad and emotional)

Never meant to belong - Bleach
Sadness and sorrow - Naruto

and a couple more but I don't find them to be real good.

Gee... thanks for the reply. They were ok but I am looking for musics, preferably. Do you know any of those? Because I think in a play when there is a song running in the background, the lines can't be heard clearly, so I would prefer it to be just musics. Thanks, though.

Try Star Ocean 3's theme song... should be good... the title is Tobikata Wo Wasureta Chiisana Torii... more emotional that sad though

I'm not just posting songs from them because they're my favourite band, it's honestly the saddest stuff I can think of, straight from the top of my head atleast.

They're probably not so dramatic, but they're definately sad.

EDIT: I just thought of some others, some have singing but they sound pretty damn sad.

Hey! MadDogMike, thanks. The death scene is totally up to me to decide. I plan to have a very dramatic death scene for the hero when he is dying and has his friends and family surrounding him. But... um where to get the song? I have never heard of Radiohead before... I don't think it will be easy to find. Thanks for all the replies anyway. Do you guys happen to know of any powerful or strong musics which can get the audiences excited? Preferably musics only. Thanks though.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that time provided is short. The whole play is about 15 minutes so I plan to have the death scene about 1-2 minutes. Hopefully there are some musics which can end nicely in 1-2 minutes while being good enough and not sound rushed or inappropriate.

What kind of music is it? JMusic or western music? What's the band's name? Any ideas where I could get it?
