Default what i love about japanese music

i love the way they randomly try to incorporate english words into their songs. sometimes they dont even get it right. like in my japanese class we were watching a video of japanese singers singing on new years eve and there was this band called something else, (what a name, lets be called something else, lol). anyways in their song they say, "give me once more chance." i mean come on, if you are going to try to use english in a japanese song at least get the grammar right. im no english expert but that cracked me up.
the song is last chance by something else in case you are interested in it.

well, first of all, i started listening to the op song for cardcaptors (lol) cause theres a comp room, and my sister plays it alot, then i told her that it sounds gay, and she gave me a certain amount of money if i learnt the song in 1 week, having learnt it in 1 day, i started liking it, and it kinda expanded from there...

Anyways, if you are interested in that sort of music, try go for mflo! they sing with other people (ie. boa, melody, crystal kay etc) they actually know english and it pretty catchy...

I really like japanese music too. I love the mostly everything about them, except for the ones that sound like rap music.

I like their voices. It's like a plain person just singing instead of some gal screaming her head off trying to hit a note.

I like all kinds of music (well nearly all kinds) but JPOP and JROCK really stand out for me. Even if I can't understand the words, I really like the rhythm, etc of the JPop and Jrock songs i listen to. Hamasaku Ayumi being one of my favourites. The good thing is, it can range from harmonic to fast beat, and I enjoy the entire span of it.

i like jmusic because of the melody. i noticed that spoken japanese is rhythmic by its nature, the pauses and held syllables are inherently metric unlike English, which sometimes has to be brute-forced. rhyming seems so easy in their language.

I understand most of the words in the songs, and I'm very pleased at how some of the songs spells out a lot of emotion and meaning.

Some songs even makes me cry while singing along.

and as some of you have said, the Japanese language is just AWESOME with whatever music they make.

JPOP + JROCK my fav, some blues and jazz like Suga Shikao is good stuffs too.
So this is how "bros" should be...
