Thread: SONATA ARCTICA!!!!! (concert)

I JUST HAD TO MAKE A TOPIC FOR THIS GREAT BAND!!!!

I went to a concert of them, and it was so great. the first support act... wel, the lead singer thought he was like.... superman. But then Symphorce came and the whole crowd went crazy, the lead singer was really hot (and sweaty, i catched several sweatdrops ) and he was also really nice.
and then.... Sonata came! I took several pictures of the drums, because the bazedrum had the reckoning night illustration on it. sooooo beautiful! Jani, well... he looked hot as ever and Tony was really cute! they played dream thieves, a potpourri and several more songs. at the end i catched Jani's plectrum and Tommy wanted to throw his drumstick (blood and all) into the crowd, but then he just gave it to me, and i was like OMG! but there were like 5 other people trying to pull it from me. my friend catched a plectrum and a towel with tony's sweat! i buyed a T-shirt with reckonig night on it and the tour! and somewhere on my butt (little to big) it says: Willem II, s'Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. I weared that shirt like, a week (i washed it'!) and I was so happy!

So i like Sonata Arctica really much, i heard it for the first time, two years ago. Then I thougt: yeah, it's okay. but then i heard don't say a word, and i was stunned. and sinse then i'm a superfan!

anyone else knows Sonata!

Yeah! they played that song too! I really like it! You should really hear more songs of them if you're into melodic powermetal!

one of the greatest band of the new metal generation, they succeed in create a perfect union of power metal, progressive metal and symphonic black metal. best songs: black sheep, ain't your fairy tale, 8th commandement, mispalced, victoria's secret and wolf and raven. most rated album: Reckoning Night (2005).

Sonata Arctica just rocks! I have never seem them live..yet, but I will! a must-listen song is Ruins Of My Life..I really like that one! =)

I just download their latest album... hmmm.. it reminds me of Yngwie or Stratavarius.... The Northern European sound.... some songs are good but it does get repetitive and boring.
