Thread: The Postal Service

We seem to have rock lovers around here...Please don't hit me.
I think they are great, the lead singer is from the more well known band 'Death cab for cutie' which I also like but strangely enough havent heard as much of...Having only the postal service's cd doesnt help in that...
The postal service, for those who don't know them are a soft synth band, which I dont usually go for, but they have some great beats I must say. Personal favorate song would have to be Brand new colony (so sweet omfg *squeee*)

I believe some of the songs have been used on the OC...don't quote me as I don't watch the OC, lol, but that might give you an idea of the kinda stuff they write.
Yeah I recomend them to anyone who likes good lyrics, something a bit softer and who are not afraid of something a bit different.

DCfC is okay too :/ but I like the Postal Service better for some reason.

Yeah. The beats are happier. I like happy music. Death Cab is a bit too emo for my tastes.

fuck yeah they rock. but the stupid ass fucking m and m commericals make me want to puke my fucking guts out. im sick of morons who dont like the song but just listen to it because in the last few months it suddenly got popular. i mean such great heights, what can you fucking say about fucking that?... i remember fucking listening to that shit till my ears bled back in the good ol days... anyway i decided to listen to some of that old stuff recently (btw if you like postal service then you will like death cab for cutie... although if your not a complete asshole you know that already.)
