    Default Alternative Hip Hop

I like the direction hip hop is taking right now. It's almost as if it's merging with other music genres.
From Jay Z, Kanye, Kid Cudi, Drake, Common, outkast, Lupe Fiasco, Gnarls Barkley, M.I.A, THe Cool Kids and so on....
I like how these artist are willing to work with others outside of traditional hiphop, mostly non-black. Its good how its become inclusive.

Right now, Im listening to Kid cudi and its one of the dopest albums out right now.

I hate a lot of mainstream hip hop. They are sound the same.
I never listen to hiphop stations on the radio. Underground, and "alternative" are a breathe of fresh air.

The fuck is with the slew of new posters. All their posts seem to be missing sentences and intellect.

    I'm only SORT OF kidding.

Mike Shinoda is kind of an alternative hip hop artist. He's a sick rapper. xReignOfFirex was pretty decent at rapping.

Hands down, best rapper alive though, that goes to Eminem.

Mike Shinoda being my second favorite. (Linkin Park guy, not the screamer)
Mike just came out with some solo stuff.

BOB and Cudi were good at first but they became a letdown. But Kanye has made amazing music lately while Jay Z is a indie fan (GRIZZLY BEAR?!) so yeah its cool that hip-hop is evovling toward a new phase, yet althip-hop has already existed before (De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Pharcyde, Doom anyone?). Either way exciting time for this type of music
